Inspiring and Surprising

I bought and played this title because my husband and I were on a road trip and he doesn't particularly enjoy my fiction and cozy mysteries. Shocked at How Much I Like This Series

I started this series because I got this book in a 2-for-1 deal. I thought it would be kind of lame because of the whole concept (like...forced). However, it was great! I love the characters and couldn't wait to get the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. books because I wanted to know what happened to Mel and Angie and Tate! Surprisingly intriguing

I got this book as part of a 2-for-1 deal. At first, I thought, "this is going to be weird and terrible," but it was actually intriguing! I couldn't wait to get in my car to hear what happened next and try to figure out who was good, who was bad, and what would happen at the end. Witty, Profound, Lovely

I love every single book that Sophie Kinsella has written. From Shopaholic to Suprise Me, I am always mesmerized by her style, characters, and plot. This book makes you think but also keeps everything light with the subtle jokes and very "real" writing. Great for a road trip

Rhys Bowen Does It Again- Always a Pleasure

Another Great One from Rhys Bowen

I LOVE Rhys Bowen--mostly I love her Royal Spyness books, but after listening to this book, I know I just love all of her writing. Amazing storyline, amazing writing, clear switching between time and place. I love her dialogue and the way she balances light romance with cozy mystery and also some actual sadness/drama. Enthralling--makes you want to meet the characters

I loved this book (as I love all Mary Kay Andrews books). Callahan is such an interesting character--real, down to earth, but also living the most interesting life. Good concept and characters, but no flow

I liked this book--I picked it up on one of the sales as a cozy-ish mystery. It was okay; I would probably not read this author again, but I did finish the book. The middle was good, but the beginning was slow, and the ending was way too fast, like the author didn't have enough pages left and had to cram everything into one chapter. #cozymystery #goodcharacters #averageplot #tagsgiving #sweepstakes
