Heartbreakingly Beautiful and Relatable

Being the same age as Mary, I delighted in the many pop culture references of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, etc. and I’m so glad she included them otherwise, I’m sure I would I have cried the entire time. As with Mary’s other two books, this book is also beautifully written. Unlike the other two, this one is deeply personal, I related so much with the trauma she endured. The circumstances were different from mine however; the hurt, the self loathing, the denial and the many years of not getting to the route of all of it were exactly the same. From the moment I saw and heard Mary on MSNBC, I was so grateful to her, that she had the courage to speak publicly and answered many of the questions I had about her uncle, the main question in the early days of his presidency being, “why is he the way he is?”

Genuine, soulful and funny as Hai’ell

I could listen to Tiffany talk, tell her stories and tell her jokes all day, everyday! She’s entertaining and incredibly honest. She has the ability to make you feel like she’s speaking directly and only to you, like a friend. I can’t wait to read/listen to her next book!!!

Great Listen!

The Life Story of Hawk Koch was incredibly interesting and written with humility, humor
and honesty. And Mr. Koch has A GREAT Voice (I fell a little bit in love with his voice actually ❤️

I really loved how Hawk did not edit out his emotions, ie; tears of joy when he talks about the birth of each one of his 3 kids, other proud moments and tears of loss and sorrow as well. Don’t get me wrong, its not like he sobs or anything but its clear that he is choked up or teary eyed.

Oh yeah and then of course theres a TON of inside celebrity scoop, inside industry scoop.

On my 4th…5th Listen! A Book I Will Listen to Many, Many Times

What a life lived so far! I don’t know any other male human being that is both masculine, in All the Right Ways and So willing and open to to allow himself to be vulnerable in order to better know himself! In fact, I don’t know many humans of any gender, that have that kind of fearlessness and/or self awareness to even think it was necessary. Although, I will say Mr. McConaughey had some extra magic workin’ while he slept (No spoilers). I will say, I need to call a meeting with my sleep/dream angels and get me some-a-dat magic “Greenlight” .

I Love Mathew’s voice, his rhythm, the pleasant, light, southern drawl and the occasional, barely audible, whistle, when his tongue encounters an S…dee-licious!!!

I really loved the way he structured the book. The Shout Outs of; “Note to self”, “Bumper sticker”, “Prescription” and of course my personal favorite, the perfectly placed, much softer, “Greenlight”.

Well Done! And Thank You! My one critique, I wish it was longer or rather I wish I hadnt reached the end yet…thats on me! So Imma start it all over, right now “Greenlight” ❤️

Beautiful, heart wrenching and So Incredibly Powerful!!!

I loved this book so much! I’ve never cried more listening or reading a book Ever! Learning about Tommy Raskin through his father’s eyes, felt like a gift, a roadmap on how to live in this world…with Love. Then, with meticulous detail, the author takes us through the timeline, the emotional grief and pain, (sprinkling in some humor…thank you Mr. Raskin) of what he experienced.

The author (and narrator) masterfully weaves the story of tragically loosing his son and the story of how our election was almost overturned by Trumps violent mob when they stormed our Nations Capital on January 6th, 2021. The thing is for Representative Jamie Raskin, its really one story or rather one period of time where these two horrific, life altering events take place less than a week apart!

I love how you speak Mr. Raskin! The way you annunciate every-single-word…it’s riveting! I hope to meet you someday so I can thank you in person for this extraordinary book! And maybe you could indulge me and tell me the story of how you found your glasses…so beautiful and magical just like Tommy!

Amazing, Entertaining, Thought provoking and Funny

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I just finished it and Im really sad its over however, there is So Much material, that when i relisten, Im sure to hear something “new”! What an amazing human-being, always thinking and coming up with brilliant ideas and then actually taking action and making a Huge, positive difference in our world!!! Keep on Truckin’ Stevie! I am certain you have more magic up your sleeve…I will donate time and money to your campaign 😘
