The members of this society were compelled by powerful visions to devote their lives to being contrarians. In simple terms, they did things backwards for the purpose of educating people on how to behave properly. A similar principle was seen on a popular t-shirt of the 1980s that said, “I’m not useless—I can be used as a bad example.”

While I thought this book was great I am a little upset about the ending. I am not going to soil it for those who have not read it yet, I will just say it was way too soon for this to happen……..way way too soon. Those who have read the story will know exactly what I am talking about and I am certain they will be of the same opinion.

This was a very good book, but very sad at the same time. There were several times throughout the book that I had tears running down my face. It’s amazing the effect a single lie can have on so many lives. Mr Becks narration was magnificent as always,

Really loving this series and cannot wait for the fourth installment. The story, narration, both are amazing. My only complaint would be that sometimes its hard to hear the voices over the background music or sound effects, other than that ….perfection.
