Probably the best book I've ever read.

The book gave an eye-opening and thorough look into us, our history, and our phychology. It framed concepts and information in a way that made a lot of sense. It was easy to follow and well worth the time.

I've just moved to a new city with my husband with the pandemic still lingering. Making friends is hard right now especially for an introvert, and I often feel lonely without close friend connections. I found this book insightful and relatable and will definitely try the things you talked about, so thank you!

Enlightening and Eye-Opening

This was incredibly insightful to me. As someone who grew up in a conservative Christian home I've recently started to reject those beliefs after finding out how incredibly binding and false they are! I'm continually seeking to expand my knowledge based on science and evidence, rather than blind belief in a religion.
This book is one that's helped me understand why so many people are trapped in their way of thinking, and why I was for so long, how to break out of these destructive and controlling patterns, how these mentalities effect humanity as a whole, and how to think critically and dig in for myself when something doesn't make sense.
Reading this was so freeing to me. I have great respect for Sagan and other scientists now, and will continue my quest in supporting science and education in my life. Will definitely read again!
