I have grown up w U2’s music and always been a fan of Bono. I listened to Bono narrate Surrender while also reading the book. Hearing Bono tell his story was truly a wild ride. He is smart, funny, insightful, self deprecating and a learned man. I love that he is honest about his ego, the love he has for family, his devotion to his faith and his never ending love and respect he has for his Ali. What a wonderful love story. There is so much information in the book not to mention great music. I just may have to listen all over again.

Loved this book. I have wanted to go Nantucket forever and this book just makes me want to go ASAP! My son and his fiancé got engaged there and go w friends every Labor Day Weekend. They say it’s their favorite place to go. Golden Girl gives the reader wonderful insight into life on Nantucket. The characters in Golden Girl are very relatable.

What a lovely story! I couldn’t put it down. Lucy was such a down to earth character that I could relate to. The story was calming in this crazy world we live in while touching on and at times delving into hot topics. A fun and terrific read.

Didn’t want it to End...

Just finished listening. I don’t know what to do next. I feel like I lost some close friends. Sue Miller writes with extraordinary detail about every character. It’s amazing how she lets you into each character’s life so that you feel like you know each one. Where they live, work, go. I highly recommend this book. This story touched me personally in so many ways. Thank you Sue for the depth of your thoughts.
I will be listening to another Sue Miller book for sure.

Each character was developed so fully. Between what each person goes through and when the story takes place, it grabbed me immediately and I could not put it down. I listened to it from morning til night. Thank you for the best distraction in the Summer of 2020!

I loved everything about this book. It was full of great personal stories from Brene’s life. This book came into my life at a great time. It is empowering and contained information that I have started to use on daily basis. I am next going to listen to The Gifts of Imperfection and then maybe listen to Rising Strong again. There is so much to absorb it needs to be heard more than once.
