Disappointing & frustrating
Revisado: 03-29-24
The main character was hard to “like” & the story was hard to finish. I enjoyed I am Legend & Stir of Echoes, but not this one.

Historia
In 1980, a freshman congressman was gunned down in Rhode Island, sending shockwaves through Washington that are still reverberating over four decades later. Now, with the world on the brink of war and a weakened United States facing rampant inflation, political division, and shocking assassinations, a secret cabal of global elites is ready to assume control. And with the world’s most dangerous man locked in solitary confinement, the conspirators believe the final obstacle to complete domination has been eliminated. They’re wrong.

Sorry, this one is not for me
Revisado: 01-30-24
I've read all the previous books from the Terminal List, even watched the Amazon TV series, but from the jump the author lost me. I wish the author would've kept his politics out of the story and product "placement" was a bit much too. I used to read Richard Marcinko's books too, started out strong and petered out after a while. To his credit the author says upfront this might not be for everyone and he was right. Why piss off part of your audience by channeling Fox News, OAN, and News Max through James Reese? Good stuff until this one in my humble opinion.
