Lacked Focus. Didn't learn much.

The message wasn't well-organized, very little historical reference, too many broad descriptive gushings such as "passionate", "devoted", and "inexplicable." Not so much about Calvinism, but a vague aura of Calvinism; like a jist. Then second section, from what I remember, because it wasn't interesting and I just zoned out and didn't finish it, was primarily about the book of Isaiah. I wish I could get a refund. I would have rather spent $7.00 on a Big Mac meal than this.

I just wanted to learn about Luther. I thought this was a book about Luther. I was so disappointed that it was a teaching series recorded live- not a book. But I kept listening because I was actually learning about Luther, the whole time thinking this wasn't worth the money they are asking for it. BUT, the instruction that came in the latter side of the teachings is so valuable I would have paid MORE for this Audible. Sproul gave such a fair and unbiased teaching of the Reformation that I couldn't tell if he was Catholic or Protestant. He clearly laid out the difference between R.C. and Reformed. The Reformation was all heat and dissent and anger as painting depict. Sproul does such a fine job explaining and teaching this historic event! Every Reformed believer (or anyone) should give this Audible a chance!!!

I have very strong, personal reasons to familiarize myself with Jehanne d'Arc's life and character. This book did it in an informative and engaging way with a good storyline to keep my attention and retain information, without getting bogged down with dry facts and over-analysis. Excellently executed historical fiction. Thank you!

I learned so much for my research paper. I appreciate that this wasn't a dull reading of a book, but a teaching (in a seminar setting) of each individual psalm. Please NOTE: There are a lot of sections copied and pasted in exactly replicated over and over. Sometimes I thought there was a glitch, but it does repeat whole chunks seamlessly throughout. Particularly at the beginning of each chapter. But it's very hard to tell where the repeats start and end. Listen at .70 speed and he sounds like POTUS Biden. Ha! I listened at 1.25 speed.
