Very well written and played with my emotions a bit… it sucked me in and I didn’t want it to end. Lots of funny parts and a great ending.

I had a super difficult time listening as there was no difference in tone to let you know who was speaking. The rest of the story seemed great… I can’t continue the series though.

I just started learning about dropshipping as another source of income that can potentially be automated. I would highly recommend this book to anyone just starting out with dropshipping and needs to learn the details that go into building a successful e-commerce business.

Let me start with the narrator... he did a great job reading the book, but I noticed several times where it seemed like he stumbled on the words while reading or he was reading the book word for word and it sounded like he had stumbled on the words. It's hard to say if it was the narrator or if the book was written with some duplicated words or discrepancies.

The content of the book provided me with enough information about the business to get started; product research, working with wholesalers or manufacturers, and even marketing via Google AdWords and social media via ads and influencers. I know that there are more details to the business that would help in being successful, but those would make this book a lot longer, are mostly preferential, or opinionated. I wouldn't mind having access to a longer book with industry best practices, but for something that introduces me to the subject, this book did exactly that.

As I went through the book, I would stop the book and do some quick research on the topic being discussed to learn more. I will definitely go through the book a few more times to pick up tidbits that will help me in the future that I may have missed. I really liked the fact that this book provided a blueprint to starting out and experimenting with the products to sell via eBay. Compared to selling through Amazon, eBay is the fastest and easiest way to get started.

Felt More Like a Biography

I love listening to and reading self-development books hoping to pick up some new strategies, tips, tricks, and habits. I was excited to listen to this book as I was curious about some of the billionaires not readily known to me. The narrator did an excellent job and kept me engaged, however; the book felt more like short biographies on the list of billionaires than their habits.

Having the biographies provided was a great insight into how these people achieved what they have, but when we got to the habits; it was just a few minutes for each person. I get that listing just the habits would be a book read in 5 minutes, so the biographies helped to understand the lives of billionaires like Ray Dalio, Jack Ma, and Oprah.

The main themes (or habits) I picked were strict time management in day-to-day activities, aggressive reading, and time spent with family. Getting to the point, like Mukesh Ambani; and asking for exactly what you need and letting that person know that they will have 15 minutes to present has great advantages. The reading habits of Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, and Bill Gates lead us to look further out in our own reading as we should have more breadth in subjects that can influence the depth of our current skillset. And finally, time spent with our families is the most important as we are distancing ourselves from our families with work and need time to disconnect from work and the world and invest our precious time with the people we love most.

For someone looking to improve their knowledge in self-development that is just starting out; this book is definitely one to listen to. It can be taken in one billionaire at a time so that you can listen on commutes to work.

Wow; just wow.

This book is kicking off a new series with a mix of religion and a lot of sci-fi. I found the story reminding me of movies like Interstellar, Contact, and Transcendence. It is very well written and kept me hooked the entire time being a sci-fi geek myself and the way Yvette Kendall tied in religion.

Each character was well thought out and I love it when authors add characters that I absolutely hate... those are the characters that help to drive the story and for me, that was Professor Sherman.

I'm curious to see where the story goes with Amirah, Selectra, the baby, and where did that alien race go to?

The only issue I had, which was easily correctable; was the speed at which the narrator spoke. Listening to the book at a minimum of 1.5x speed made the narration sound more normal to me. The narrator has a deep ominous voice that definitely sounds like a higher being when reading.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes to watch religion, alien, and space documentaries.

Oh, and iDrugs (digital drugs) are basically binaural beats to stimulate various feelings in the brain.

This Is How To Write a LitRPG Book

YESSSS!!!!!

Here's a book that took me back to my childhood with a lot of the first games I ever played on the Atari and through the Nintendo, Sega, and beyond. So many memories came flooding back and the story line was awesome.

A group of people living in a gaming world made up of different game realities get to go on an adventure to rescue a direct descendant that hacked his way into the game world. The first two books takes us along with Sean and his friends into the bit realm, a Minecraft-type world, and gets us to a castle where Plenny, Sean's direct descendant is trapped.

My only issue is the background of how these people have lived for centuries and if they're still alive in the real world... I was confused on that.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fresh LitRPG book that brings back some nostalgic memories.

YESSSSSSS!!!!!

Continuing the first set of levels, Jason and Roy's guild is now growing and Jason's identity is growing as well. We are now starting to see more of what Jason is capable of.

Jason is a pure badass in this book and I'm just getting more and more excited about the Pantheon's ascendence in the tower and how the story is turning out with K-Wolf now showing up as a demon.

Again, this is definitely a book I would recommend to anyone interested in the LitRPG genre.

What I would like to have in the following books are sound effects for the leveling system or in battles.

Holy crap, this book was awesome!!!

The book starts with the victory of humanity in one of the towers placed in multiple locations around the world by an unknown source. After the victory, Jason; the main character has an opportunity to set things right... well, almost.

The book reminds me of Groundhog's Day, where Jason has to relive his life in the tower... almost as if he's playing the game of the tower again with the knowledge of every level of the tower.

It's awesome to have Jason train Roy and build his own mastery. My favorite part was when Jason basically went on a killing spree toward the end of the book; it showed us a glimpse of his ultimate power.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in LitRPG books.

I have listened to various LitRPG books in the past year. The majority are fantastic and there's a handful that just suck and I sometimes regret getting those books. This is not one of them; this book is definitely an awesome start to a new LitRPG series.

The ability to play an MMORPG while sleeping is awesome and would be freaking bad ass if it were a reality. The characters in this book are pretty awesome, but my favorite would be Karan; especially when he was able to take revenge on Ignus. The character progression is spot on, but I would love to hear some SFX when leveling up or accessing stats and skills to separate it from the conversations.

There were a couple of characters I had a hard time differentiating during conversations because the narrator's voice was pretty similar with the characters. Other than that, the story line and narration was awesome and I'm happy to have listened to this book and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Felt Like The Equalizer & Mad Men

This book made me feel like I was listening to a version of The Equalizer; not the movie, but the T.V. show back in the day. It also felt a bit like Mad Men with the conversations and the era that this whole story took place in.

The action was pretty good in some parts of the book, but others were not as exciting as I wanted them to be. Because the story was written for the 60's and 70's, the action was definitely more in line with those years. Had it been updated for today, the action would have been much more violent and creative.

The narrator read the story in a way that made me feel like I'm watching/listening to the cast of Mad Men. I wasn't expecting it, so it was a nice touch.

I can say that I would recommend this book out to some people based on their taste for the 70's style of action.
