I loved this entire series. I am saddened by the news of the author’s death and therefore the end of the saga of Gina Royal/Gwen Proctor. I looked forward to every book.

Love these books

I have enjoyed all three of the Gena Royal/Gwen Proctor novels so far. They are intriguing and interesting and have very strong female lead characters. Each one is different, I was wondering how the author would pull it off a third time but she managed to do it well. Now I’m even more excited about what seems like a set up for more books to come. Won’t give any spoilers but great idea! Hoping for a fourth

My least fave of the 3, but still hope for more

I am a big fan of DI Harte. I love how Kovach takes a realistic female perspective. She is not super human, but still manages to triumph out of sheer grit and perseverance. This book takes on some social issues which I also very much appreciate, and it really does extend empathy to victims of poverty and drug abuse. I found this one slightly less gripping and compelling than previous books. Maybe it was less "action" involving Gina herself? Or also a very complex plot line involving multiple narratives which were slightly harder to track and keep up with in an audio format. So, I liked it but not as much as the other two. However, I still hope for more DI Harte stories because she is a character worth developing and following and we need more like her!

This was excellent. I love the format of interviews with people/coaching sessions. It really was much better than the typical narrator reading text. I’m also impressed by Mel Robbins and her insightful ability to support and assist others in identifying their problems quickly and helping them reach conclusion. I think this book will be helpful to me in fact it already has been, identifying old patterns from my past. I was only partially impressed with her first book-theFive second rule-it was good but not great. This was great.

I just love pretty much everything that Lisa jewel rights. This book is a great story, I loved that it is told from a male point of view unlike many of her others. The narrator is excellent-he does a super job playing so many characters it really keeps you interested. The story is very good and I enjoyed this book very much.

One of the best books I've ever read

Honestly I loved everything about this story. The characters, the plot, the variety. The performance by Helen Duff was spectacular. I literally laughed out loud, and was brought to tears. I have waited a while before listening to anything else because this book was so moving. I still think about it. Excellent in every way.
