As someone who has struggled with anxiety most of my Life, the progressive muscle relaxation technique had been the most effective tool for me. This technique was introduced to my by a phycologist after a traumatic work experience. He had given me a cd with this technique to use. After years of use and with changes in technology I lost it. And searched for something similar. I was so happy to find this book on audio it was exactly what I had been searching for! It is extremely effective! I even have used it with my 11 year old son who and a stressful day and school. He said he has never felt so relaxed in all his life!!
If you suffer from anxiety, please try this!! You must use it everyday for a month or so, like you would take a pill. It will help train your mind and body to relax in stressful situations and greatly help with anxiety.
