Not as good as I hoped

The stores could have been about 10 chapters shorter. Too much added internal dialogue from main character. I have read all of DeMille’s books. This was a watered down version.

Story lacked excitement and anticipation like earlier books. Last chapter was not needed or just missed the mark.
