As I listened to Richard Rohr deliver these six messages, it was if the walls of my spiritual world pushed back, and I gained new space to know God, and to be known by him.

Surprised how this story informs my own losses

I wanted to read to know the story in full of my friends, Pat and Tammy. However, the book not only drew me into the journey of the incredible disruption of such a substantial loss, but it opened my eyes to at least two more experiences. One, I feel more informed on how to come alongside others who have losses with more considerable sympathy and understanding. Two, and I did not expect this, but it has opened a window into my losses, and how I have or have not dealt with them. I recommend reading this story not only to enter into a journey with incredible depth but also to be open to exploring your own loses and precisely how you and others close to you have navigated your losses.

Brilliant sequence for reading the NT

I have read the Bible many times, and my experience reading the order in which this reading plan has the letters laid out is the most helpful in grasping THE story, and the individual stories in each letter. The sequence for me also is more interesting to read through in that it does not read as repetitious as the traditional order of books feel. Brilliant.

The Order of the books is sublime

I am enjoying everything about this series. I especially love the order in which the books of the bible are presented. The commentary before each book gives fabulous context and the reading performance is perfectly balanced between dramatic and just clear reading of the words. I especially love that I can increase the rate of the reading and it does not take away from the performance.

An amazing story read beautifully

I never tire of this story of God's gracious pursuit of His bride. What a lover He is.

David Suchet' reading is wonderful to listen to even when I advance the rate. This work is excellent and I am moved each time I listen to it.

So fun

I was expecting more of a how to book. Jon is funny and crazy wise. Jon has so many great one liners that I would like to go through the book and write them down to consider longer. They are pithy, catchy and with remembering. I loved this book and I will get Jon's other book because this one is so good.
