An engaging story

I have been a fan of Bodie and Brock Thoene for many years. It began with their series, entitled the Zion Chronicles. That was my very first introduction to Christian fiction and also my very first lessons on modern Israel and its continuation of prophecy from the ancient. These wonderful, faithful storytellers have a deep love for Israel, and for the people of God, both Jews and Gentiles. I cannot recommend their work more highly! This story really did a lot to make the characters of Jesus‘s inner circle to be more human. This particular story does not focus on the 12 but on more of Jesus‘s extended discipleship group. I really loved it and recommended to anyone who wants to deepen their faith.

An awesome story well told!

This is a long story, but I guarantee you will not be able to put it down. It is a well conceived story and artfully told with unforgettable characters it will have you laughing one minute and crying the next. If you wonder at all what it was like for our forefathers to navigate the early and violent days of our republic, you will find poignant parallels within the pages of the story. Mark Goodwin is an excellent excellent author.

A very engaging story!

I have been interested in Native American culture for a number of years and have always wondered what it would be like if time could be reversed and that the native Americans could once again live on their land as they choose and not how white culture or arbitrary governments want to force them. The author is a very engaging storyteller and lays out an entirely credible and ultimately believable end times scenario.

On the Spectrum!

In today’s parlance Jack Mill has to be considered, “On the Spectrum”! In the old days before every word was so scrutinized to see just how we can be offended by it, Jack would likely be said to have “Asperger’s Syndrome”. Although at times assholers syndrome might seem closer to the truth. I really did not like this book in the beginning, and I felt that the narrator was doing a very poor job. But I gave it time because there were some things that stood out and now I believe that the author was a genius in the way he wrote the character and the way he communicated the storyline as if in the main character. In retrospect, I love the book, even though the narrator is not my favorite. I think he did his job well. If you have any interest in computers or any interest in romance, or any interest in the paranormal, I highly recommend this book!

I love the writing style of this series and these authors, and I found it compelling and very difficult to put down. These books are like perfectly buttered and salted popcorn to a hungry man.

Another wonderful story!

Brock and Bodie Thoene, truly are masters of storytelling. I was completely and totally enthralled with this work and felt drawn closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during my time reading this book. I highly recommend it.

Wow!!

I love Craig Johnson’s writing style, but this one definitely had my neck, twisting around like I’m a victim of some sort of demon possession, because the way he ramps up the intensity by switching back-and-forth in time is just phenomenal. It’s gripping!
