Historia
These 24 lectures are a vibrant introduction to the primary characters and most important stories of classical Greek and Roman mythology. Among those you'll investigate are the accounts of the creation of the world in Hesiod's Theogony and Ovid's Metamorphoses; the gods Zeus, Apollo, Demeter, Persephone, Hermes, Dionysos, and Aphrodite; the Greek heroes, Theseus and Heracles (Hercules in the Roman version); and the most famous of all classical myths, the Trojan War.

A brief summary of Myth in the classical sense.

This was very encouraging and enlightening. I enjoyed the descriptive information on the small things that get missed throughout history and the misguided sense of understanding we receive. But this brought truth out.

Learning is a lifelong adventure. It starts in your mother's womb, accelerates to high speed in infancy and childhood, and continues through every age. Whether you're actively engaged in mastering a new skill, intuitively discovering an unfamiliar place, or even sleeping-which is fundamental to helping you consolidate and hold on to what you've learned-you are truly born to learn around the clock. But few of us know how we learn, which is the key to learning and studying more effectively.

A little more descriptive information about the basic concepts and a little less repentance. Thanks.

Sci-fi-tastic! I seriously enjoyed this book!
Revisado: 12-13-18
First of all the narrator reading to me was amazing. Every word felt as if he was actually the main character. But the book literally brought me to life as my mind grasped it like a 3-dimensional film on a colossal screen. The story gave such detail and imagination to a profound future of beings that seem so likely to occur. My favorite part is the relationship the main character has to the Xenosphere. It's like entering a virtual reality video game. I loved it.
