Revisado: 02-19-20
At first i thought I wasn't gonna like this book, but continued listening. Then I couldn't stop reading it!! it was really enlightening into what both sides had to go through, I have depression and it gets really bad sometimes, But am so thankful that it has never been as bad as what she went through. I would love a 2nd book to see how it goes after that. My heart goes out to them both.

Historia
Private investigator Samantha Moon gets up close and personal with her dead ex-husband's mistress, Nancy, who might be a woman who knows too much. When Nancy opens up to Sam about her history with Danny, Sam tries to forgive her and move on with her life, maybe even be friends. After all, Danny didn't play it straight with either of them. Despite her good intentions, something rises up in Sam, something dark and evil, and something that she can barely keep under control.

But he’s also blessed with an all-too-human heart that beats with one purpose: to protect Alba, the first girl child born in nearly two decades and the salvation for a country at risk.

Wonderful book.
Revisado: 09-28-19
This is my favorite book I’ve bought in the last couple of years. It’s full of history, love and mystery. I love the travel of times. And the end really caught me off guard. I wish it would have gone on and was quite sad when the book was over. I hope there’s a second book!! And the narrator was wonderful also. Sometimes just that will make me stop listening and go find another book.

Did you know that most of our dinosaur fossils were discovered because two grown men absolutely hated each other? It’s true! Rivals! Frenemies Who Changed the World is a riotous audio exclusive, like if Monty Python taught your history class. Each volume of four 30-minute histories will dig into the petty name-calling and grumbling grudges that led to many of the world’s greatest advancements, all delivered with a cheeky sense of humor. Choose sides: Cope or Marsh, the jerks who discovered so many dinosaurs; Hamilton or Burr, whose rivalry fueled American politics; and many more....

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

not for the family
Revisado: 11-11-15
Would you try another book from Andy Weir and/or R. C. Bray?
nope, the language is not appropriate for familys
Has The Martian turned you off from other books in this genre?
no
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of R. C. Bray?
yes the narrator was great, it was all the bad language that I had a issue with
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Martian?
just the cursing
Any additional comments?
it would be awesome to have books with not such bad language.
