Book 2 in the series is good. What I hate is when an author changes the voices for the same characters. The voices sounded way to young for the part and way over played. The first book was a 5 this book is not. MB

The series is good. Several voices make the story come to life. I normally never get this far into a series because the story gets stale. Each book has been good. So what bothers me....the same thing I mentioned in the last review. The main character is a trained FBI agent, yet in every book someone gets the drop on her, or she leaves her cell phone on a counter or in her Jeep. By everyone, this includes young females. Thankfully, she has a partner.

This is book 2 and the story is well written. I like that the book uses a variety of voices. Many books use 2 voices for several people and it drives me nuts. So, what bugs me,,,This trained FBI agent is never ready for the bad guy and normally gets beat up at least two times per book. Hello, you carry a gun and it is not your first rodeo.

I liked the idea of the book. The end became dumb, and an insult to police. A murder takes place and police procedure is 2 minutes of the book. I think readers will be disappointed in the end!

I read a few books and liked them, but it became clear it was another book about a bad ass chic that is never really ready for bad things. Same mistakes over and over. Weapon never near by, phone lost or dropped, repeat, repeat! Oh, and several times the speaker repeats the same lines. Sammy W.

If you are older than 12, please do not waste your credits. So predictable that there are times you are writing the next line. If you want an adult well written book...read T.W. Piperbroke or Sarah Lyons Fleming. This book is filled with repeated predictable situations that "Oh goodness, how did that happen again?" There was a plot, but never any build-up or suspense. A young boy and girl ventured into their twenties before confessing their love for each other. After that, you wish they never had! If you are 12 and your Mom allows you to read Zombie books, then this is for you.
