Best three books series I ever read in my entire life. The narrator was awesome. I can’t believe she had spoken for all those different characters and never sounded the same. I never expected Dean to write like this, but I hope he keeps doing it because I couldn’t put it down. Bravo!

Good story Judy - CA
Revisado: 10-16-24
I listened to the first three books because it kept me interested. But the narrator almost kept me from finishing. Although she could speak well for boys, men and women, she really sucked at young girls. All the girls sounded like old women almost grandmother like. Even the ones not captured. Terrible! As for a part in the story, if the girls saw the killer while trying to hide in the ditch then why didn’t they remember that person later when presented? Couldn’t figure that part out.

The storyline was very well written. The narration was fantastic with all the different accents and languages. Disappointment was the singing. Know the song before you try to sing it. it was pretty bad.

Historia
On Christmas Eve, DCI Mackenzie Jones is called to a shooting at a remote farmhouse. Ralph Mallender believes his father lies dead inside. When three more bodies are discovered, it's clear a festive family gathering has turned into a gruesome tragedy. At first it seems like an open and shut case: a murder suicide committed by Ralph's volatile brother Cameron. Then new evidence makes Mack suspect the man who reported the crime is in fact the perpetrator. But Mack isn't the only one with a stake in the case.

Good but predictable JB Calif
Revisado: 05-17-24
The story was really good, although I figured out who did it within the third chapter. The only part that I find amusing is when the lead hero runs after a killer with a weapon but the hero does not. That’s just not common sense to me. What are you going to do when you Catch the killer at the time? Use harsh language? Laughable

The story was really good and the narration was fantastic. The traumatic part of the story didn’t make sense to me and it felt like I was watching the 1970s movie where stupid decisions are being made. Why would anyone wanna run after a killer without a weapon. It makes no sense. I had to laugh!

It's as if he knows what Bernie is thinking. And his next move is more than shocking—it's chillingly personal.

Very bad narrator. Everyone sounded like they were mentally challenged. All the women sounded like dumb blonds and all the men sounded like women. It was hard to keep track of who was speaking. Story line was excellent though.

I really enjoyed the story, but all I really want to say is “duck tape can be torn with teeth.“ there were so many times they could’ve escaped by simply using common sense. But then the story would be over sooner. All in all, I enjoyed the story.
