Kiley Reid is masterful at good storytelling using mostly dialogue. Nicole Lewis is great as Reid’s go-to narrator. I can hardly wait for their third pairing.

This is a difficult time, and I appreciate hearing from each Audible editor who contributed to Audicted this month. I’m so glad you didn’t skip it this month! I’m at home alone and glad to hear any conversation. Audicted is free, and if it’s not to someone’s taste this month, maybe just don’t listen and try again next month? I saw some harsh reviews of this episode, and I wish we could be kinder and less specific. I enjoyed this episode, and as I said, I’m happy to have the company at home. I also saw a review that questioned why the editors didn’t talk about some books that were recommended and reviewed in past months. Again, that seems unfair to the editors to me. Maybe listeners will go back to prior episodes for specific reviews. Thank you, Audible editors for this half hour of distraction for me!

Smart and engaging

I rushed to listen to this until the end, and I found it smart and fairly complex, with vivid details and packed full of short focuses on many current topics. I was very much engaged from start to finish. I know these characters will stick with me, and I liked each one of them. Excellent writing, and excellent narration, too. Recommended in my opinion.

Great audiobook! The Lee brothers are very engaging, and I learned a ton about catering. The Lees made their behind the scenes view of catered events fascinating and appealing. I would listen to and enjoy many more hours of this, and I was sorry when I came to the end.

Excellent series

I love all of these Masters at Work audiobooks so far, and there are more of these coming in September 2019. I don’t know of any other books (or audiobooks) that offer narratives in such detail about the experiences of the work world. I find it really engaging to be allowed to slip into the behind the scenes settings and visit these consuming workplaces. I love being a guest in a restaurant, and I enjoyed learning what goes on where a guest can’t see, in kitchens and in restaurant careers.
