Historia
It all comes down to this. I should have known my freedom from Mercer would only last so long before my pack was hunted down, and I was dragged back into it all. It’s suffocating being back in this place that twisted my shifter side forever and threatened to change who I am. But this time is different.

Warning ⚠️: the last book in a series, fantasy, not a standalone, animal shifters, an experiment.
Narrator score🎧 ; Greg did such a wonderful job with the whole series.... he gave to each character life... especially Ari.... the sass was in his voice it was brilliant.
Level of steam🔥: as always Alice's books aren't about the steam at all.... they are about the story... about thr characters about thr connections and more ... but steam isn't the main event at all.... you have some moments of course you do.... but it isn't the subject at all.
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well..I already wrote that this series is much different from what Alice wrote so far ... yes she has one different series (within the mind) but this series comes as something else and it worked... you have action and drama..... and some very difficult moments but the book isn't sad... and it isn't too much.... the drama is there but it isn't nerve racking.... but you really want to keep going.
The book itself📖: well.... I loved the series so very much... I think this is the series where Alice has the most characters written that in any book she has... and yet again it isn't difficult to keep up with the story... because every character got into your heart and mind... yes my favorite character is Ari for sure but i can't say he is the best character of thr story ... I think that he is responsible for the comedy part of the story ... but you have so many good characters in here that you love and adore.... and I think this is why Alice is such a good author... she is making us the readers (listener's in this case ) to understand each character even the evil characters that lack of humanity in that case are humanized in their psycho ways...

“You are the savior of mankind” are the last words I ever expected to hear while nibbling on fries. The thing is, I’m not mankind saving material. I don’t even have magic (and just found out it exists). I’m the most boring, normal(ish) human ever. Suddenly, I’m being tossed right into the middle of a fight that started years before I was even born, and then I get partnered up with Alastair, a quirky magical Guardian. He is rather attractive and sweet when he’s not into the whole “woe is me, I can’t let myself fall in love with you” nonsense.

Warning ⚠️: comedy, saving the world from something unknown, a crazy horse, a cat old as dirt, a crazy friend, and some guy named ****...
Narrator score🎧 ; Michael out done himself so very much.... you can hear how much he enjoyed to read this book.
It was an absolute pleasure to listen to him preform this book.
Level of steam🔥: as always you have a lot!!!! Of banter but it isn't about the steam at all..the connection between the characters is building in a different rhythm lol 😆 😂
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: I can't call this book sad... it's the best thing ever laughed so much my face hurts. It was amazing.
The book itself📖: wow!!!!!!!!!!!! OK..... I have to admit that at first I thought that the book was a bit too much.... especially Alistair.... but then we discovered somethings about him that made him more of a human than someone that the world circles around him....
It's like Alistair is a crazy version of Maui in Moana they are both a***les but it's a cover from the world.
And Nix is that great character ad well this ordinary guy that is afraid that his grandmother will kill him and change him in his sleep....
I really can't wait to the next book on audio...

Warning ⚠️: mm romance, fantasy, vampires, police story, medical trigger, abuse, comedy, part of a series, can be read as a standalone but not recommended, because of the time line of this book you'll discover things about the other characters from other books.
Narrator score🎧 ; Michael Ferraiuolo is a freaking artist , he did an outstanding job with this book (not a surprise really) and what I really loved about the preference that he gave the book another rhythm it was a bit slower than the usual comedies he preformed and it only shows how much he understands his work.
Level of steam🔥: ad always the did isn't what's important in Alice's books.... and when it came it was sweet and very fitting for the story...
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well... I cried i actually did cry 3 times if I recall correctly! It wasn't a heavy book, it was still a comedy so don't worry about it.... but yeah the story had his dramatic effect for sure.... and I don't think it's the usual comedies she does.... the banter is here.... the story is here... but I think the fact that those characters are somehow normal compared to others... and the fact that the background story is a bit more difficult... makes the feeling run high. But yet again it's still Alice winters and it is still a comedy that I adored.
The book itself📖: well. I think it is the last book in this series (maybe I'm wrong, I wish I'm I just loved it so much.)
And I think that the is brilliant. I loved River he is a funny, sweet, strong and very innocent character on his own whey... and Bentley just stole my heart. I adore his kindness his way of viewing the world..... and I adore the crazy cat 🤣🤣🤣 it was just a sweet book, with a crazy background story and the best characters ever.

Warning ⚠️: mm romance, fantasy, funny demons, a comedy, second book in a duet, not a standalone.
Narrator score🎧 ; Greg Boudreaux is one of my all time favorites!!!! I adore his voice... but he really out done himself!!!! A genius this is what he is!!!! I just adore his work!
Level of steam🔥: lol! Well as we all know Alice winters can make everything funny!!! Absolutely everything!!! And she did it in here too... because painting in the bedroom is a thing 🤣
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: it is a full on comedy but it doesn't make this book or this duet lacking in any way! It was a perfect combination sass, with a great fantasy story... Havoc is a wonderful character and she did it again she made my giggle and in the same time feel for the Mc's and the small characters. So no I didn't cry... the book was light ... but I did feel and I think that's what makes a comedy a win.
The book itself📖: well!!!! Some how out of all this incredible author job Havoc is my all time favorite character... he is complex yet funny out rages and amazing... and Miles is such a wonderful character as well.... he suffered a great deal... from one side you think in the beginning that he isn't a caring person but then you discover him... you discover his sass his loyalty, his love and you can not not love him! You just do....
And something else that Alice winters does like no one else... her use of pets 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (especially in here) and her use of "small characters" that are growing on you again and she gives them time and life.... and let's be honest in here it wasn't the longest book she wrote and yet again I didn't feel that the story was lacking in anything, absolutely nothing was missing and I adored it.

Warning ⚠️: mm romance, part of a series, not a standalone especially the last story!!! Do not read this book or this review if you haven't read the series of vernia! Fairytales as a comedy, the last story is different.
Narrator score🎧 ; Michael Lesley out done himself!!!! I just can't!!!!! The sound effects are on point!!! The voices!!!! The singing!!!!!! The poetry of Tiggy!!!!!!!!!
Level of steam🔥: well 😂😂😂😂😂😂 things happened in here 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 things that are not for children ears!!! Things that TJ himself wrote that he should feel sorry for, but somehow he doesn't!!!!! And I'm so happy he doesn't 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well, it isn't sad. But you will get a lot of feelings that will punch you in the heart , especially the last story.
The book itself📖: wow, I'm writing this review after the last story and it's unfair!!!! Because I'm still emotional after the last story.... and I need to think about all the other stories!!! That were funny, so funny that will probably make your face ache from laughter!!!!!!!!! I don't even want to elaborate on it. I just can say, please do not listen to the this book in public!!! People will think you lost it 🤣🤣🤣( seriously, one person thought I was crying because my curls fell on my face and I was shaking!!!! But from laughter 🤣🤣🤣 so that happened) enjoy every word in the first 3 stories... because the last one will make you feel so much!!!!!

Historia
My whole life, I’ve been taught to despise shifters. So when I’m hired to track two escaped convicts, I’m suddenly thrust into the world I hate - or thought I did. Yet I’m inexplicably drawn to the alpha of the pack, whose land the convicts may be hiding on. He’s different than any shifter I've ever met - laidback and quick to laugh, caring, and protective. As secrets are revealed, I start to wonder if everything I’ve been raised to believe was a lie, though it may not matter, because it seems like someone wants us dead.

Warning ⚠️: mm romance, fantasy, shifters, a new view on the shifter world (that I loved), racism
“Yes, yes, what would happen if a shifter started chasing their tail during an extremely important meeting or something. It’d probably be the end of humanity.”
Narrator score🎧 ; Greg is absalutly amazing as always, he did an outstanding job with this book, he gave life each character, and I loved it!
“And if I get distracted by a squirrel, just simply say, ‘Wanna go for a walk?’ real cheery, and I’ll probably come back.”
Level of steam🔥: as always Alice's books aren't about the steam, they are about the story. You have quin that will speak your head off, and will make everything sound inappropriate which was fun as hell.
“Dammit, I will eat you.” “Sounds **** ,”
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well, to all of you that love funny Alice, you won't get her here full force or in the same capacity... the book is different from everything she wrote so far... the book isn't sad per say... or maybe it is? (Something it's really difficult to write reviews without writing spoilers... ) and don't get me wrong we have a very sassy alpha shifter in here... a very cute and uncertain **** so you will get your giggle time... but it is absalutly different from all she wrote. And I loved it.
The book itself📖: well, I heard a lot about this book, and boy was it difficult not to read it and wait to the audio book... but man was it worth it!!!!! I love Quinn so much his character is incredible.... only Alice winters can say .... fudge the rules I want my self a more fam alpha... and he will be incredible and funny and sassy... and understanding .... and a great leader... and then we have Rowan... and I absolutely love him too.... I feel for him.... I really do... it's not easy to expect yourself when you were though to hate yourself.... and the side story was a wow story too... I just can't with this author... it's like everything she writes is getting better and better every single time.... I just loved it.

Warning ⚠️: mm romance, self deprecating character, secretive character, winery, a small town, sexy accent.
Narrator score🎧 ; well Michael Dean is a well known narrator to me, I usually love his work and I did in here as well... what I wasn't expecting was the great new narrator I discovered... because owwww boy this voice and this accent!!!! I'm feeling hot in here...
Level of steam🔥: well... I don't know... should I call it a slow burn? Maybe? It took some time... but the story was hot...
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well we have those two characters one is very secretive about his life he is silent and we know from the very beginning that something happened and when we discovered it , it is sad... but not too much... and from the other side we have this self deprecating sexy wounded man that takes everything with humor and thought his life isn't glitter and roses he copes and I just love him... so to the bog question... has the cry baby cried? So no I didn't in this book... you had some very emotional parts but I didn't cry.
The book itself📖: well apparently I had to write a lot in the previous category... but let's see... I came to this story because I love the narrator... I didn't know about the author much... but I like the way she / he wrote this book... it wasn't a fast story... don't get me wrong it was an insta attraction case from both sides... but the characters had a lot of thier plates... and I liked it... it wasn't fast..m some of the revelations took time even for us the readers and it was great.

Wesley Moore is a walking wet dream. Literally. He's on the school's swim team - and absolutely gorgeous in Speedos. He also has a reputation. I figured he'd be perfect to pop my cherry with no strings attached. One night. That was all I wanted. I'm not looking for a boyfriend. My crazy family would never accept Wes...or any other boy I brought home. I need to get him to sleep with me before I fall for him, and there's only one way to do it. Lace. I've got a whole box full of secret weapons, and I'm not afraid to use them.

Warning ⚠️: mm romance, comedy, virgin, sweetness overloaded, second book in a series, standalone.
Narrator score🎧 ; John is a wonderful narrator i loved his work and it was very good as always.
Level of steam🔥: well, it was a slow burn , a funny one and I totally loved it.
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: the book wasn't sad, yeah you had that not so bright father in the story. But that's that. The story was sweet, funny, and adorable.
The book itself📖: its a second book in a series, it is a full on standalone so don't worry if you hadn't listen to the first book, (thought the first book is as good as that one)
I loved the characters in that one, they were easy going as was the story. And I love the aunt she is sweetly creepy and endearing.
I just loved everything about the book.

Let's do this ****
P.s!!!!!! If you hadn't listen to the first two books go the F away, and do it already!!!! What are you still doing here?! Are you still here?! Go away I told you
It's review time 🎧
Warning ⚠️: 3rd book in a series, not a standalone, comedy, mm romance, action, guns, a sweet kid, 10 dogs (well 11) and much much more!
Narrator score🎧 ; well I really don't know what else to say about this talent, really I don't Michael Ferraiuolo is so talented it just hurts from laughter, really I can't feel my cheeks anymore!!!!! Omg he is responsible for elongating my life and making me feel better. Just thank you for that.
Level of steam🔥: well 🤣🤣🤣 how can I say it.... you had some edible underwears, and some very funny *** time. So yeah. It was kinda hot. But as always one of the biggest talents of this incredible author is that she doesn't need to write steam to make you want to read it. It just is, and it's wonderful and snarky.
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well though its a full on comedy, it is full with humans and I'll explain. Sometimes when you read a comedy you forget to write something serious, but she didn't as an author she made us love Leland and Jackson. They aren't those perfect or stupid sitcom characters, they are human and she even made me to tear up. The book is that good.
The book itself📖: well ,we are here! that book, that whole series, is just a big Wow! because who knew that you can fall in love with a character from the one side, but you never want to meet this character in real life, because omg!!!!
So yeah that is Leland, you love him, you love his snark, his humor, his craziness, you can't dislike him, but now and then you are reminded that he is dangerous as all hell! And the combo is just brilliant.
I really think that Alice winters is an incredible artist, I can't call her just an author, because she's much more. She'll tell you a story that could easily pass as an horror movie and tell it as a full on comedy. Its a great talent she possesses.
And Jackson let's talk about him , he is more "perfect" than Leland but then we discovered that he isn't from book one we see this accomplished man who isn't in a good place with his family, and sure we all get it in the glamorous dress of humor, but we do feel what he is going through and I love it. Every single moment of this book and series as a whole is magic.
