loved the story. would have been a little better if they had more time at the end

i would have liked to know how the characters that survived this awful war, and the commanding officers that used them, fared afterwards

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

the bravery and suffering was not recognized by the marine hierarchy...i found this disturbing

What about Bronson Pinchot’s performance did you like?

surprisingly good

Do you think Matterhorn needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

yes. Perhaps the ones who most deserve condemnation will receive it and those that suffered for no apparent military reason should be praised

Strong anti-war message in a real life war setting. Should be required reading for all in war college.

Any Human Heart by William Boyd. Each brings out emotions for lost loves and lives and are brilliantlyconstructed

while it was an interesting time historically, the story was wasted on silly and incredibly predictable characters

respect the reader

she did the best she could with adolescent material

better 'sleuthing' by rachel....avoiding the shrink....getting some redemption from the police; tom;s new wife and her roomate

the weakness of the Rachel character
