I love KM as an author and have enjoyed several of her books. This one didn’t do it for me. The main character was so indecisive and the story felt drawn out. The twist was OK but nothing earth shattering. The narrator was good.

Cute mystery loved Vera

This was a cute mystery with a couple of twists. If you want something light to listen to this is a good one. The narration is outstanding and really does a great job bringing Vera to life. I gave it 4 stars because I felt it could have been a bit shorter. But overall was fun to listen to!

John Marrs does it again! This is by far my favorite book of his! Usually his books are a slow burn in the beginning, but this one grabs you from the start! In addition to the countless jaw dropping twists, there are so many, one liner, hysterical phrases, that makes you literally laugh out loud. He is the master of creating not one but three despicable characters that you will hate at some point in the story, if not the entire time! Very Dark and Disturbing

This is one of those books that is very well written and performed but the content is very dark and disturbing. It is very sad but you feel very strongly for the female characters as they form a sisterhood through the terror. I feel like I need to listen to something very light and fun after this one. If you do not have a lot of triggers, this is worth the credit. I thought both narrators were great. Do not understand the negative reviews for the male narrator. He fit the FBI image perfectly in my opinion.

This was a fun listen with great a great narrator. I gave it 4 stars because the alias chapters were at times confusing, but towards the end, brings everything together. I was glad things were explained a bit at the end because I definitely missed some details. Definitely worth the credit.

Great storyline, get performance! I love how this story revisits some of the stories in the first few books. If you haven’t read book 1 or 2 in the series, I highly recommend doing that first, although recaps are embedded throughout. I really enjoyed this one! Look forward to continue reading more Joe Ledger adventures.

Loved this book! I had a love/hate relationship with all of the characters!! The story dragged a little in the middle for me, but the last third was riveting. I did not see the twists coming, and there are more than one! Definitely worth the credit! Now I cannot wait for The Tenant!!

Fast moving great twist at the end

I really enjoyed this book. I didn’t have to think a lot, it was easy to listen to and narration was terrific. It is a bit gory and detailed and it the killer kills children, so if that would bother you, you should pass. Had a great twist I did not expect. I highly recommend!
