The story was okay but hated the relationship between the main characters

I only continued to listen to this book as I had a four hour drive and no other book downloaded.
I hated the relationship, me man, you woman and you do what I want. Didn’t like it. The overall story was complex and interesting but the main female character was just too weak for my taste. I would not recommend.

I like smart, interesting main characters. India Summers may not be as stupid as she acts but I had to fast forward through the part in which she and Rod Amos were out to catch a murderer. Yikes! I like the Amos family but this was my least favorite book in the series.

I should have read the reviews first, then I would have never downloaded this book. I have read all of the books in this series. The first ones were so great, I keep thinking that the last one wasn't so bad, maybe this will be better. It isn't, save yourself the money and skip it.
