Historia
As Aiden and Caylin prepare for their Valentine’s Day wedding, Aiden is given some sage advice. Before he can truly give Caylin the beautiful future she deserves, he must willingly let go of his personal demons and allow them to remain buried where they belong, in the past. If he doesn’t, he will continue to second-guess himself and never fully believe he is worthy of the happiness they share. With pencil in hand and a blank journal in front of him, Aiden begins to write the story of his life spanning from the moment he was created up to his present.

the story was great but I didn't like the narration

i really don't get why Britney Pressley didn't do the narration, switching narrators is like a show completely switching the cast.

a good deep romance
Revisado: 08-29-24
Stoker did an excellent job in this novel of writing a romance that involved both deep emotions but also great controversy the only complaint I have is that the end is too abrupt ending right when happiness is found wish them being happy together had dragged on for a few long chapters.

Historia
A charming but ineffective prince takes the road less travelled after a hunt, setting in motion events that result in him losing his wife and his kingdom of Grunewald in under a week. The plot is thick with disreputable characters (even the prince) as well as court intrigue, treachery, and deceit...but in the hands of master storyteller Robert Louis Stevenson, these larger-than-life characters are delightful, and the almost-serious events become part of a lighthearted and sweet fairy tale complete with a happy ending.

in the end there's a clear happy ending but I feel like there should have been more story there showing them being happy after all that intrigue

Rowling has really outdone herself!
Revisado: 03-14-24
I usually don't write reviews but this was so good I'll make an exception. I'm an adult, a bachelor and read this initially simply because j k rowling wrote it. I was quickly swept away with the fascinating tale, the idea of s land of things that have been lost is both so weird and fun, in ways this book carries elements of Toy Story, also elements of Tron the idea of a society existing where you wouldn't think. what I didn't like was the fact that there were only 3 towns with the sheer number of lost things there ought to be more, also the lack of a Land of the Thrown out I dislike the concept of things consciousness ceasing to exist

Being able to jump into books used to seem like the greatest thing in the world to Owen Conners. But now Owen's trapped in a time travel book where listeners - that would be you - decide how the story goes. As if that weren't enough, Owen's also stuck in a prison for time criminals in a prehistoric era. He's surrounded by bizarre fellow prisoners, including Kara Dox. How does Kara recognize Owen if they've never met before? She seems to think they're old friends, but that can't be possible.

Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi.
