Historia
Just as I Am is my truth. It is me, plain and unvarnished, with the glitter and garland set aside. Here, I am indeed Cicely, the actress who has been blessed to grace the stage and screen for six decades. Yet I am also the church girl who once rarely spoke a word. I am the teenager who sought solace in the verses of the old hymn for which this book is named. I am a daughter and mother, a sister, and a friend. I am an observer of human nature and the dreamer of audacious dreams.

Good book, not so good audio
Revisado: 08-27-20
Enjoyed various parts of this book. Valuable wisdom, thought provoking answers to personal ah-ha moments. Would prefer to have the reader read the book as printed, as there were multiple times I got lost during the read-along as many parts were skipped by the reader . This causes me to pause and have to read the skipped parts of pick back up. Eventually, I just stopped the audiobook and read the tangible book instead.

Worth a triple read....and several shares
Revisado: 05-02-20
The only thing I didn’t like about the book was Judge Toler getting the wrong artist for a song she quoted, but that’s just a needle in a haystack dislike. So, basically, I loved everything about this book and will read it again. I have a small daughter but will be purchasing the hard copy for my arsenal to pass down to my daughter as she grows up. This is helpful for me raising a daughter because some things I just didn’t know. Thank you Mother Two/Too.
