Historia
Why are people gaining weight faster than ever before? According to Alan Christianson, NMD, our bodies are under attack from all directions - an overabundance of processed food, a polluted world, and the pressures of daily life all take their toll. These attacks hit a little known but very important set of glands, the adrenals, particularly hard. One of the many jobs of the adrenals is to maintain a normal cortisol rhythm.

Such helpful information here!!! A must for just about everyone.
Dr. Axe covers an amazing multitude of health issues - from migraines to depression to heart issues and more, all of which have connections to gut health.
By listening to the audio book, I learned I have three gut type issues. Plus how to recover from all those problems.
My migraines are already getting better after three weeks of trying his suggestions (of course your mileage may vary, I'm simply sharing my own personal results).
You have nothing to lose by listening to this audio book. Get it! You'll be glad.

Fascinating!
Revisado: 09-29-17
A fascinating look into key missions that shaped the Mossad, covering how it began, up to fairly recent times. My husband was listening to a different audio book, but once he started listening to Mossad (cuz I found the book he was listening to rather uninteresting), he found this too interesting to stop listening to! He's finishing the book now, too.
The only thing I found a tad confusing was the stories aren't laid out in chronological order, so sometimes between chapters we'd jump back 10 years or more. That's wny I gave the story 4 stars. Other than that, the story was very well told, and it was totally worth listening to from start to end!

Solid, practical, and useful
Revisado: 08-21-17
This book isn't just lists of what to do.
It provides you with the HOW: HOW to individualize this action plan. HOW to deal with the inevitable derailment. And HOW to make these new habits permanent.
Regardless of how you're wired, this book has enough different ideas and suggestions, so you're bound to find what works for your individual situation.
That's the major difference between this and other get-it-done books.
Very useful. Very realistic. Very practical.

Historia
In his landmark best seller The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell redefined how we understand the world around us. Now, in Blink, he revolutionizes the way we understand the world within. Blink is a book about how we think without thinking, about choices that seem to be made in an instant, in the blink of an eye, that actually aren't as simple as they seem. Why are some people brilliant decision makers, while others are consistently inept?

Historia
Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

Overall, very helpful!
Revisado: 04-12-17
The basic idea of the book is to first discard what doesn't spark joy or is used frequently, and then hone your tidying skills by decluttering, by topic, and doing so relatively rapidly (take 6 months or so).
Her method makes a lot of sense, and it's given me a mental shift about what I really want in my home.
The first time I listened to the book, I lost interest after hearing the author describe a very Japanese way of organizing your socks, shirts, etc.
But don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Keep listening. You'll be glad, and your home cleaner.
(Chapter 6 goes more into the Shinto view of tidying, which I mostly skimmed through.)
That being said, I found 90% of the book useful, which is far more than most books.
Get the book.
