I love the illustrations that play with the audio!

We've been slowly going through and buying the audible books from the With Synchronized Images category and have found that some are mis-categorized and don't have images. This one DOES have the original illustrations and we just love it! This is such a beautiful story, we're going through and getting all the Keats books on audible!

I love the illustrations and the narrator!

I absolutely love the narrator of this book, who is an African woman with a beautiful and melodic voice. This audiobook has original illustrations from the book that you can watch as you listen - because picture books were meant to be enjoyed with the pictures! We've been going through the With Synchronized Images category and buying up the picture books with images - many are mis-categorized and do not show the original images but this one DOES have that option!

This one was placed in that category but doesn't show any illustrations other than the cover image - I wish we could get the illustrated audiobook version or exchange it for one that has pictures! We love the Ezra Jack Keats books on audible because several of them have the beautiful illustrations from the books. I was really looking forward to enjoying the pictures with this one with my pirate-loving daughter!

Several of the Ezra Jack Keats books on audible do have the beautiful original illustrations so I was really excited to enjoy this one with pictures as well!
