Just read it I swear the only thing you will regret is having to wait until next fall for the 2nd one...I would change nothing it was magnificent...I just finished it and may dive right back in TBH

Should Have Read It Sooner

This is one of the best books I have devoured so far this year! This is what I had hoped Hunting Adeline would be but wasn't. It is witty and dark and sweet and funny and dark and spicy and one of my favorite dark romance if not my current number one. Although getting to the spice takes a little while I give the spice a 4 out of 5 so if you want minimal or no spice you may want to steer clear. The narrators are both amazing and the chemistry feels so real between them. Also please pay attention to the trigger warnings they are there for a reason.

the story is interesting. the writing is ok, it reads like a young author thats still growing into her craft and that's ok! however what ruins it for me was the narrator. i needed something "light" to take a break from TOG series, and i LOVE the clecanian and ice barbarian series so much i had hoped that this would be just as good and enjoyable. however, the story is moved forward a lot by the male protagonist and having a female narrator who doesnt excel at differing voices between sexes and/or characters and at times droned on whether there was dialogue or not made it difficult to finish this audio book. the narrator was more of a distraction and kept me disengaged. since the story is interesting i will probably purchase a physical copy and read it again on my own.

fun, interesting, engaging and slightly spicy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend it, highly. the humor and humanity of the characters makes you enjoy it all the more

yes to the balance of heart healing romance and spice and sass and funny! love it! love it! love it! easy, entertaining read! I am so in love with this series and its characters!

she's back!

the humor, sass, spice, heart warming romance and fun that I missed in the previous book are all back! I missed it so much! I understand why the last book was what it was and yes it was appropriate for the characters and storyline however--I feel how I feel and I loved this one as much as the first three. can't wait for the rest!

I wish it were as funny as it's predecessors unfortunately it isn't. it was a nice read, not as spicy or funny but nice. I'm still holding out that I will get one with Tiffany in it...but I do still love this series and the characters!

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK
FROM THE NARRATORS TO THE CHATACTERS TO THE WRITING--EVERYTHING! I have read other Ruby Dixon Series but this one is my favorite--PERIOD! YOU CAN HAVE ALL OF MY MONEY FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE IF THEY ARE ALL LIKE THIS!!! I am running to get the second one now because if it is anything like this one I will be an addict! it is so funny, heart warming and the development is believable for me. I am here for it and I recommend it so highly because the spice is oh so very very NICE TOO!!
