Baldacci still has it!!!!

Disappointed

Normally a fan of Baldacci and was excited to listen to a story with a new female protagonist. It seemed like he was trying too hard to have a ‘strong female character’— she’s actually an Olympic class weightlifter! The story line meandered from meeting with a serial killer, hiking the Grand Canyon, finding a hidden nuke & missing man, budding romance and two cross country trips with Thelma and Louise, Whole story seemed too political complete with corrupt government, Russian collusion and the heroine who breaks all the rules to ‘do the right thing’. I listen to fictional stories to escape news headlines so this was not the best choice for me.

Appealing Stories

This collection of stories is sure to please everyone in your household. The stories are varied and well-written. All have interesting musical backgrounds and/or sound effects. Many different performers, including me, contributed vocal or musical talent to make this terrific audiobook. This is the first time I've heard the whole audiobook, and it's terrific. A true labor of love. Give it a listen, you won't be disappointed!
