A Good Book that is kind of out of order.

There is a lot to love about this book. Life lessons given in the form of good football practices. It's also a good life story of a colorful character (Bruce Arians).

The issue I have with it is it seems like a first draft that was never put in proper order. It jumps around a lot in the timeline, giving it a feeling of someone just talking at a bar about their life. That feel fits the narrative, but it's a little too much. It's almost like Bruce Arians gave a few long interviews and rather than putting things in order, they just stitched it together.

This should be required reading by everyone.

I didn't realize how much this book would affect me emotionally. Both hope and sadness. This book backs my optimistic outlook on the future of humanity. I'm thankful for this book and have been recommending it to friends and family as I have been listening to it.

I enjoyed the performances a lot. It wasn't just a reading of the book, it was a show. I enjoyed the story, but it seemed pretty typical. I suppose I had very high hopes considering everyone involved in making it.

It is unfortunate he didn't run for president. How different the world would be if he had.

I have to listen to this again.

A lot of insight.

There is a part discussing the American flag as having a strong connection to conservatism and Republicans.

It made me think of the kneeling in the NFL having such backlash (Not discussed in the book). It makes more sense when looking through the lens of the flag being an emotional symbol for people that they think of AS them. It is understandable for people to get so upset if they FEEL like kneeling is an attack on them, their friends and family, and way of life, regardless of what the real meaning of the kneeling is.

Fantastic.

This book is obviously (painfully) from the early 90s, but it makes the references more fun (especially Donald Trump as a failure). However, the laws ring true. Past success can lead to future failure. This books laws apply to humans period, not just marketing. It's invaluable.
