initially i thought i was going on a hippie journey. But i thoroughly enjoyed the things I am learning, which are explained in a more common sense tone.

Does not respect the Star Wars universe.

someone obviously took the Visions story "written by someone else" and completely wrote it in a different direction.
feels like someone trying to force their own agenda/world view on the reader.

And the pronouns make it really hard to follow who is being talked about and what's going on. Overall, it's a weak book. It's all telling & no showing after the visions recap.

the only thing saving this book is they got a good reader to perform it, who sounds like their struggling to read some of it in the end.

My older Tough Lovi'n brother from another.

He reminds me of where im from although its the opposite side of the country; his frustrated love hate relationship with Taiwan mirrors my own frustrated feelings about being an American who wants to be free and proud but still can't seem to find a decent sandwich for under $10 close to work that isnt fast food. Not to mention the surreal greatful yet resntful relationship that many people I knew growing up had with not just their families, but communities as well; myself included. the forgotten generation.

I was skeptical about the reader initially, not because he isnt good but because I thought his voice might have too much humor for the story I had created in my mind. but the more I listened to the light hearted gruff voice, the more it all fell into place.

Maybe my favorite of this series. IDK the next one is just as good. I really wish carey would start it back up again. Its like the John Constantine of London, and no wonder that Carey also used to write on Hellblazer.
