This is a beautiful ending to a wonder story. I have lived with Raven and Christian, along with all the other characters, in my heart since I first discovered Keystone. This story brings me so much joy.
If you’ve read the other books I have no doubt you will feel the same.

Got through around 1.5 hours before I had to call it quits.

Storyline is patchy and jumps around. There’s no lead in to the situations they’re placed in and everything seems choppy and rushed.

Narration is dull and slow going. No true feeling to any of the characters and different tonalities aren’t this narrator’s strong suit. But- she did do the best with the writing she was given.

I’m the end I cut ties early and returned it. Wasn’t worth the credit in my opinion.

I listened to multiple stories in this collection and loved them. The writing was great and the performance on point.
My only issue was the glitch in the track. In multiple, but not all, of the stories it would go back a few lines of dialogue and repeat itself up to 3 times.
I returned the title, but Audible did not give an option for feedback, so I’m including that info in this 5 star review. Still recommend the book, glitchy bits just need to be fixed.

Reads like a high schooler wrote it

This book is categorized under erotica and is labeled as “descriptive” in the summary. The only way either of these two apply is if it were written by an inexperienced high schooler.

The stories are poorly descriptive in everything but erotic moments, which may only take up five minutes of less of the entire short story.

The narration fits the innocent feel of the writing, but that’s about it. Not a ton of emotion nor changes in vocalization. It’s more read than performed.

Overall, I listened to about 2 hours, hoping something would spark my interest. Sadly, they did not. I didn’t feel it was worth the credit and returned it.

I like Penelope Ward’s work in general, but this book just wasn’t for me.

Andi and Sebastian are a popular duo, but I wasn’t feeling it this time. Female lead is written as a whiny 20 year old who boasts being an adult and can do what she wants. I think those character traits combined with Andi’s voice made it unlistenable for me. Another intolerable issue I have with the Female lead is her plotting of “happenstance” encounters and different ways the male lead will change his mind. Reads as a desperate stalker banking on coercion more than “winning him over”, which is what I feel it was going for.

In truth, I honestly didn’t even make it through chapter 3- which was sad, as I was looking forward to the age gap and tenant tropes.

Could be the right book for you. Just isn’t for me.

The premise of the book sounds great. Only the heroine comes off very much the “damsel who fell down and needs a man to help her back up while her shirt pops open”. It’s a staggering 180 from the fierce cage fighting woman she’s supposed to be.
The language and interactions were tropey and worthy of back to back eye rolls.

Meghan Kelly’s performance might have been the final catalyst for ending my listen. Her vocals and inflections add to the damsel in distress vibe from the main character, which is not my jam.

You might like these things, but they’re certainly not for me.

Overall, the book as a whole falls ridiculously short of even the faintest of expectations.

I bought the first two books and felt touch and go with them, but chose to finish the books. However, this book was not worth the painful hours listening just to finish the series.

Storyline:
The premise of the book is good/ okay for the first 2 books. This book flipped a good bit of that and stole what enjoyment I was getting from the story. The first two books seek to release religion, but suddenly is on a mission to remove all evil from the world brought forth from the original sin- And in the most mundane way. Lots of rushed & fractured build up only to be let down further by a dull lack of physical participation on the part of the heroes and heroine during what is meant to be seen as a battle.
When the mission is accomplished, it’s a moment that strives to be like that of Harry seeing Dumbledore once more, but falls ridiculously short.

Performance: Ugh. Okay- part of the problem is in the writing.
Regarding Eve- it lends itself to a meek and innocent heroine that never leaves the “little” mindset despite Akeroyd’s attempt at Eve’s growth. That said- Jennifer Jill Araya does a wonderful and irritating job. She pulls off the character well, who is, by nature, a girl child masquerading as an irritating damsel. Anaya’s vocal whispers do come across as actual whispers in the soundtrack. The balance in volume is lacking and can make some of it hard to hear it if you have the volume set for regular dialogue. Araya is good, but annoying thanks to the writing.
Regarding Austin Rising voicing Eve’s mates: Again we come to the issue of the writing. Akeroyd has written the most cliche bunch of dude bros found in every testosterone driven frat house. Their growth is minimal and it’s saddening. Rising does a good job of pulling off the dude bro persona. However, in voicing 7 different men Rising lacks in a diverse character voice range that could have been a good base to show where these characters were from around the world.
Rising voicing (no spoiler) a new character up in their years: We know from this that Rising does have a secondary vocal character at his disposal. Unfortunately, this comes across sounding like a cartoon villain.

Not worth the read. Not worth the money.

Witty writing sets Big Bad apart from other rich romance stories

I’m not always a fan of the super rich romance books. They seem to follow the same tropes over and over. The billionaire part is just a side note to the real story. The writing is filled with puns and metaphors, making it unique and humorous- even when situations are troublesome.
The storyline moves a bit quickly, and not always in the best way. One minute they may talk of moving slowly, yet the speed picks up a bit unnatural at times. However, this does not diminish the book as a whole.
Narration is well done with good vocal inflections for different characters.
Overall good listen.

This book made my heart flutter with the beauty of their relationship and the shop that was being created. Overall impression: swoon worthy and simply charming.

Characters are solid. Plotline is easy going with little suspense- good for a light read. Narration was great.

Please Note: This review encompasses the entire series but contains no spoilers. The overall arching plot line/ idea is what drew me in and kept reading through the various books. Sadly, this does not entirely make up for the issues with consistency, lack of connections in scattered plot points, little or no motivations behind character’s actions, and more. The overall series lacks follow through on several plot points that are set up as foreshadowing that could have given great interest to the story as a whole. Sadly, none of these moments of foreshadow take place. The characters themselves are all written well with the exception of Hades. He comes across as a spoiled rich kid fitting certain tropes of this kind of character. His narration could also have something to do with this character and their choices coming off as a bit cringeworthy, eye rolling at the least. I am a major fan of combining different mythos and storylines so that they can coincide and mingle well with one another. However, one can not simply skip over known mythos in ways that create incestuous relationships just to use certain characters. Lastly, all three books could have been written as one. They are each labeled as “semesters”. One would assume that these would then take place in different semesters, however the timeline is so muddled that there is no clear marker of what semester we are in. There are three books, but what seems like two semesters. Additionally, there is not a large enough story arc and cliff hanger within each book to make a series necessary. Overall, the ideas behind the storyline are very, very good. Just poorly executed. I do not find these books to be worth their three credits, though you might.
