Fluff and Fun
Revisado: 09-23-24
I usually spend my credits on longer stories but I am so glad I picked this one up. Cute story, enjoyable characters, and good dialogue with several laugh out loud moments. Great narrator too. It was such a fun read I finished it in a day, and promptly got book 2.

Returned The Book Due To Narration
Revisado: 01-04-24
I have listen to so so many books, and sometimes you just have to ignore the reviews and take a chance. I am so happy I could return this book. The narration was so bad. A ton of other reviews have said the same, but it truly is atrocious. I was so excited that they had chosen a narrator who could pronounce the Korean names correctly, but as soon as the first *CREEEEAK* came across my earbuds I began to have my doubt. As the titles states I returned this book because it just got worse. No clear distinctions between characters, female voices were the worst I have heard from a male narrator yet, and the sound effects ranges from laugh out loud bad, to please make it stop. I love this story line I have read the manhwa and am looking forward to the anime adaptation, but this... is painful and I cannot recommend it.

I wanted the main character to grow and learn, she didn't.
Revisado: 11-15-23
The performance for this story was fantastic. and the idea for the story is also really really good. I enjoyed the original parts of the book, and as the book carried on I was excited to see where it was going. I wanted the main characters to grow and learn together. to see more of the magic of the world, and to have an experience where you just enjoy your time with the characters. none of that really happened. The main character is, although young and I guess that explains quite a bit of it, quite a bit of a whiner and refuses to admit that she is wrong- even when it is blatantly obvious that she has misunderstood or misinterpreted something.

Continuation of a great story
Revisado: 11-15-23
Ignore the "it's just a training mantage" reviews. having listened to all five books back to back, this book simply continues a fantastic story in the same vein. Yes there is training involved, but it is handled in the same manner as the other books; giving enough discription to explain but not enough to give every new ability away or to become boring. The training shifts and changes frequently and you learn more and more about the world as it does. Perspective changes help fill in the gaps between what the main character is doing and the loves of the side characters. If I were to be hyper critical I would simply say it's a "middle book" that is necessary but not as exciting as the book that came before it. However I enjoyed the book far to much to be that critical. If you enjoyed the first four books go ahead and grab this one.
