Historia
Of all the things that could have landed in her yard, it had to be him. For most people, finding a half-naked superbeing in their yard might be a dream come true. Unfortunately for Gracie Castro, it’s the exact opposite. Especially when he’s grouchy, rude, and shows no signs of leaving anytime soon. But when a hero of mankind needs you, you do what you have to. Even if it compromises everything you know. And totally changes your life.

Not her best story

Too much talk about death - accidental, deliberate murder, suicide …….. wasn’t fun to listen to, kept hoping it would get better but never did.

Historia
I’m the type of girl who’s given up on fairy tales. So when Beck – the hot new busboy at work - starts flirting with me, I know better than to get my hopes up. Happily ever afters aren’t for the average. I learned that the hard way. But how can I be expected to resist a man who can quote Austen, loves making me laugh, and seems to be everything hot and good in this world? Only there’s so much more to him than that. Billionaire playboy? Check. Troubled soul? Check.

Historia
When a brooch is broken, some of its magic is lost. When NYPD detective JL O'Grady is invited to be her brother's plus-one at Montgomery Winery's end-of-harvest gala, she plans to enjoy a fabulous weekend in Napa drinking wine, enjoying sunset dinners on the veranda, and watching her brother's high school basketball tournament. Instead, she's pulled into a murder investigation hauntingly similar to a New York City racketeering and drug case that nearly ended her career.

The MacKlenna Clan Continues to Expand
Revisado: 09-12-16
What did you love best about The Broken Brooch?
This is Kevin and JL's story but all the previous Celtic Brooch characters are involved. I enjoy finding out what has happened in the lives of the previous main characters. There are enough background details provided that this could stand alone too, however - it might be a little hard to follow. So read the earlier books - you will have a new favorite author and reader!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Broken Brooch?
Elliott and Meredith's son overhears a conversation revealing more secrets, but my lips are sealed :)
What does Teri Schnaubelt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She is a wonderful reader, love her Scottish accent. I never had to wonder who was speaking as her different voices are outstanding.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
Looking forward to the next Celtic Brooch book and hope it is available on Audible soon!
