Another 5 star fantasy series by Aaron Hodges

The Legends of the Gods is the second fantasy trilogy by NYT bestselling author Aaron Hodges, and I have no doubt in saying this author is absolutely one of the best in the genre. I'd give this series 6 stars if I could.
Aaron's writing is exceptional and always keeps me up late at night, totally immersed in his worlds, and this series is no different. I've read all three twice and am in the second listening of the audiobook. If you're looking for gripping epic fantasy with complex, dynamic characters and fantastic world building with lots of adventure, then definitely pick up his work. Best part, this audiobook includes all three books in the series.
The narrator is great, though there's a certain quality to his voice that I can't quite out my finger on that bugged me a little at first. But the storytelling is so great you completely lose yourself in it, and I found I really enjoyed the narrator once I got into it. So, definitely take a chance on it. You won't regret it. It's fast become a favourite out of my audio library.
I've now got all of this author's audiobooks, and I can't wait for his next project. One of my favourite fantasy authors, hands down.

I specifically told the agency I wanted a male dog walker. She’s way too leggy. That’s the problem. And young. And naïve. I got no business letting her stay in my guesthouse, especially the way my blood runs south whenever she’s near. In another lifetime, I might’ve pursued her but I suck at relationships.

Reply enjoyed the book. As with any audio book, the narrator completely makes or breaks it. I loved this narrator so much, going to go check out her other work.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I recommend this book to anyone who loves hot reads and dragons! A really creative and original take on the genre. I absolutely loved the whole series and can't wait for the rest to come out on audio.
What does Emily Bauer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator really captures the emotion of the story and sucks you right in until the end. I can't imagine it being done by anyone else.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Asolutely! Would have listened straight through if I could have.

Love this series and I'm SO excited it's being made into audio. Highly recommend!
