Historia
Newly appointed CIA director Dr. Irene Kennedy is the target of an inside plot to destroy her and prematurely end the American President's term. To make matters worse, Saddam Hussein is close to entering the nuclear arms race - something Israel has vowed to stop. With the haunting specter of World War III looming, the president calls on his secret weapon: top counter-terrorism operative Mitch Rapp. But with only two weeks to take out the nukes, Rapp is up against a ticking clock - and impossible odds.

Misplaced narrator
Revisado: 08-16-19
After listen to the first 4 titles in the Mitch Rapp Series it was a shock to listen to Ken Kliban in Separation of Power.
All the returning characters has lost their identity, and Mitch sounds like an old woman. Luckily i found the same title with another narrator witch I can continue listen to. To my opinion Ken Kliban is misplaced as narrator of books/series like the Mitch Rapp series. Hope I can return the version narrated by Ken Kliban.

This is a book for very young reader
Revisado: 05-05-19
I had to, lissen to what had been read several times, due to a feeling of incoherently. She just suddenly found this or that, just was there or here. So in the end I sat and wondered what did I miss in this book. After going back several times I figured out that I didn't miss out. It is just poorly written. Ok From 10 to 16 years
The narrator was not one of mine favorites but did her job

What a fantastic pearl of a story
Revisado: 04-29-19
This is a story about refugees, or how it might is to be a refugee. How it is to escape a deadly regime and then end up as a farmer in Africa. Not that farming was your profession, but you need money so you better start over and learn. How to get your family over to Africa, how to save your family? Is it possible to save them all? What about language, other people? How it might be to turn your life over 100% as a war refugee, to get new friends. This is not a story from today but it might as well have been. The struggle in a new country, the language barrier, customs, snobs, and your fear for what happens back home. What about family and friends? It is a fate a lot of people deal with today as well
It's a story about depressions, loneliness but also happiness and love.
It gave me a lot and I will recommend it highly

Historia
After surviving the horrors of the Holocaust - in ghettos, on death marches, and in concentration camps - a young couple seeks refuge in Canada. They settle into a new life, certain that the terrors of their past are behind them. They build themselves a cozy little cottage on a lake in Muskoka, a cottage that becomes emblematic of their victory over the Nazis. The charming retreat is a safe haven, a refuge from haunted memories. That is, until a single act of unspeakable violence defiles their sanctuary.

And I used a credit on this?
Revisado: 04-29-19
Yes it a story, incoherent but still sort of a story. But a really really bad one. She is touching murder, but it is just a touch, this is no crime story. Story of war? Yeah a chapter or two. But no depth. The justice? Have noe idea. Must be Leveison's own feeling that it is justice to write a book, even if you don't have much to write about.
I was so disapointed and through the hole book I awaited for something to happens, but it never did. To be honest this is so bad that I am thinking of handing the book back to Audible

Historia
Marie-Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is 12, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.

I just loved it
Revisado: 09-20-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
It is a fantastic book, it is so powerful, it is flabbergasting, it is beautiful, just listen to it
What other book might you compare All the Light We Cannot See to and why?
It made the same impression on me as the "Book Thief"
What does Zach Appelman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
A very nice voice. Lifted it all up
If you could rename All the Light We Cannot See, what would you call it?
Does it need an other title? No it doesn't
Any additional comments?
Just listen to it

Loved it
Revisado: 09-04-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Saving Amelie to be better than the print version?
For me it is. A printed version is something I don' think I would buy
Who was your favorite character and why?
Uma, the little deaf girl, and the priests
What about Rachel Botchan’s performance did you like?
That she after a long time ended up seeing she wasn't in the center of the world. The idea of genocides is repelling
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
Just loved juved it. It was really exciting and filled with some action

Historia
A mysterious stranger known as 'The Wolf' leaves an infant with the sisters of Santo Spirito. A tiny silver key hidden in her wrappings is the only clue to the child's identity and so begins a story as intriguing and beautiful as the city of Florence itself. Belinda Alexandra's new novel, Tuscan Rose, is set in Italy during the time of Mussolini. This richly woven tale of passion, love, longing, witchcraft and magic promises to be everything her readers love and more.

On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. To long, to long, to boring, and even more boring.
Revisado: 01-29-15
What would have made Gone Girl better?
Speed it up, spped it up a lot, make a better ending. Or even better write a better book
What do you think your next listen will be?
No plans what so ever to read anything from Gillian Flynn
How did the narrator detract from the book?
To much of the same, all over, and over and over........ Never getting to the point, and the point was cruel ok, but it came to late
What character would you cut from Gone Girl?
Amy's mother and father
Any additional comments?
Sometimes you buy the wrong book, it is things that happens. A lot of other really good writers to listen to. Why spend time on something you don't like
