Great addition to the Atlantis Grail series
Revisado: 12-08-21
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I do wish it would have taken us through to where Aesop was revived and tell the story of his Black armband, though. It felt incomplete at the end, but did answer some questions about his interactions with the characters we grew to know well in the series. I hope that you write more novels about the Atlantis society and about some of the characters! Thanks for this one!

Historia
Ull Rigel is a fit and worthy Tornian warrior, the first male of a powerful and respected Lord. Because of this, he'd always believed he'd be able to attract a female, securing his bloodline. But he hadn't. He hadn't even been able to attract one of the Earth females they'd discovered. But his younger brother, a third male, did. Now, the Emperor was sending Ull to Earth to protect it from the Ganglians who were abducting the females his brother warriors so need. Trisha Burke had plans for her life. Career. Family. Friends. But one moment changed all that.

Another great story
Revisado: 05-07-20
I just love Mk Eidem’s characters and this audiobook was fun to listen to. Ull is the continuation of the Tornian series and he is the brother of Ynyr in a previous book. He’s sent to Earth by the Tornian Emperor Wray to negotiate for Earth females in exchange for protection of Earth from Ganglians. The heroine is the niece of the US President and Lisa’s close friend. Lisa has told Ull to contact the friend first to ease the way, but he just kidnaps her and brings her to the ship. Ull doesn’t have a very positive view of women, Tornian or otherwise, but getting to know the beautiful woman is the beginning of an awakening. But She can’t get involved with him because she has a secret. Narration is excellent as always in this authors stories, as she uses multiple voice and some sound effects.

Walking into a high-tech hideaway bearing an essential message to Tom "Mac" McEnroe, Team Leader of the betrayed Ghost Ops force, is the most dangerous thing she has ever done. The soldier she encounters is frightening and suspicious, but her senses reveal the man underneath: tough, honorable, and so breathtakingly masculine Catherine feels weak in his presence.... But to surrender to Mac's passionate desires would put her life in dire jeopardy.

Fascinating fast paced romance!
Revisado: 05-07-20
Set a few years in the future, our heroine Dr Catherine Young is a neuroscientist at a lab in California studying dementia. When her hidden ability startled her into mental contact with one of her patients, she is driven to find the man the patient focuses on. The hero, Mack, is a former Ghost operator for the military who is on the run after a mission gone terribly wrong. He and two teammates are set up to take the fall for the mission, but escape. When Catherine’s car stops working in a snowstorm and she’s found half frozen by Mack, the true adventure and romance begin. This is one of those books you can’t put down and I listened to it straight through in one day! Lots of action, sex, romance and mystery. Looking forward to the next in series! Narration was excellent! Lisa Marie Rice is one of my favorite authors.

Great story and characters!
Revisado: 04-27-20
I really enjoyed this audiobook very much! In the beginning of the story we meet our hero who is a Marine who has retired to a cabin in the Smokie Mountains with PTSD and social withdrawal. He hears from a friend that a CME solar flare is on its way which will wipe out the electric grids across the world. He’s already fully stocked for survival, but heads into the small town at the foot of his mountain to fill up his gas tank. There we meet our heroine who is the shy owner of a gas station convenience store. She has always had a thing for the gruff loner and when he comes in she finds it hard to even talk to him. Little does she know that he’s attracted to her also. As he’s leaving, he stops suddenly at the door and warns her about what’s going to happen. As he leaves, she not sure whether to believe him, but decides to err on the side of caution and starts a hurried process to stock her home with as much as possible before the next day aided by her aunt and her young cousin. When the CME actually does happen, some people in the town are not quite prepared and it will take a leader to keep everyone alive during the coming winter. There’s a sexy relationship development between the two main characters, some low life drug addicts who try to cheat the town and heroics by our main hero. Altogether an exciting and fast paced story! Narration was excellent!

Historia
It was just another after-work happy-hour bar downtown, where business professionals unwound with a few drinks, complained about the boss, maybe hooked up with someone for the night. Until something went terribly wrong. At first it was just a friction in the air. The noise intensified. The crowd seemed oppressive. Some sharp words were exchanged, some pushing and shoving. Then the madness descended. And after 12 minutes of chaos and violence, 80 people lay dead.

The patrons of the bar go into a killing frenzy during happy hour in a bar that Roarke happens to own. Morris figures out that the people all were affected by some sort of short acting aerosol drug cocktail that caused 80 deaths within 12 minutes. The case gets even more complicated when the same scenario occurs in a cafe during lunch, where luckily beat cops were nearby and stunned most of the people leaving 20 dead. The whole Homicide unit and most of EDD are on the mass murder cases and Dr Mira says the killer won’t be able to stop his killing spree. Can Eve and her team find the killer with only a few clues? Historia
Pediatrician Kent Abner received the package on a beautiful April morning. Inside was a cheap trinket, a golden egg that could be opened into two halves. When he pried it apart, highly toxic airborne fumes entered his body - and killed him. After Eve Dallas calls the hazmat team - and undergoes testing to reassure both her and her husband that she hasn’t been exposed - it’s time to look into Dr. Abner’s past and relationships. Not every victim Eve encounters is an angel, but it seems that Abner came pretty close.

Grudges from the past can be deadly
Revisado: 04-23-20
It’s Spring in NYC 2061 and a man receives a package while he’s at home on his day off. Curious, he opens it to find a golden egg. When he opens the latch on the egg, he drops dead and that’s how Eve Dallas and Detective Peabody find him after his spouse calls 911. There is a bit of panic when they have to call in the Hazmat squad and find out the man died from some sort of nerve gas. Luckily, no one else is contaminated. Trying to figure out who killed him and why, it’s not long before another person gets a package and dies the same way. When the trail leads them to a private preparatory school and the past, it’s a race to figure out who is holding grudges from years ago. Meanwhile, Roarke has a pond built and Mavis is pregnant again. Narration was excellent!

Gangs in NYC
Revisado: 04-20-20
When Roarke hires a new psychologist to head the soon to open haven for teens, Eve is surprised to learn she’s actually Crack’s girlfriend. Then Eve gets a call from Crack one evening asking her to come to his girlfriend’s apartment when they find her brother dead from what looks like an overdose. The victim is a former member of “The Bangers”, a NY gang, but has cleaned his life up and stayed sober since he got out of prison. Eve’s sharp eyes see that this wasn’t just an OD of a former junkie, but a murder. As the trail becomes convoluted and tied to a disbarred lawyer, it takes the entire department to find justice. Revisado: 04-19-20
It’s the end of a bitter February in 2061 NYC and a much loved man walks into a scheduled meeting and detonates a suicide vest. Eve Dallas and Detective Peabody survey the damage and none of the survivors have an idea why he would do something so terrible. When his wife and child are found restrained and beaten at their home, they begin to search for motive and the sadistic killers. As they narrow down the suspects, one of the people they have questioned turns up dead in Central Park. Then another suicide bombing happens at an art gallery. Taking down the two men Eve suspects are the killers is a hard task, but finally they arrest one of them- but he’s not talking. Working late with Roarke in her home office, the light suddenly shines on where the other suspect is and after Eve has a hand to hand fight with the guy, they haul him into Central too. Meanwhile, The Icove Agenda is up for a bunch of Academy Awards. Eve refuses to go, but she sends Peabody and McNabb with Nadine First to LA. Will she ever live it down when it wins 5 Oscars? Historia
On a chilly February night, during a screening of Psycho in midtown, someone sunk an ice pick into the back of Chanel Rylan's neck, then disappeared quietly into the crowds of drunks and tourists in Times Square. To Chanel's best friend, who had just slipped out of the theater for a moment to take a call, it felt as unreal as the ancient black-and-white movie up on the screen. But Chanel's blood ran red, and her death was anything but fictional.

A bizarre killer
Revisado: 04-17-20
As bitter February 2061 grinds to a close, Eve Dallas and Peabody get drawn into the world in which a crazed killer is reinacting the murders in a popular series of crime novels. As they try to anticipate what the killer will do next, Eve reads the novels. Steady cop work and a little luck aids in helping them on the trail of the unstable murderer. When apprehended, the killer is guilty of 3 murders and attempted another murder. Unfortunately, insanity looks like the defense. Narration was great!
