Historia
Some say that this work, found in a safe-box in the port area of Kowloon, was dictated because Bronze Age Pervert refuses to learn what he calls "the low and plebeian art of writing". It isn't known how this work was transcribed. The contents are pure dynamite. He explains that you live in ant farm. That you are observed by the lords of lies, ritually probed. Ancient man had something you have lost: confidence in his instincts and strength, knowledge in his blood. BAP shows how the Bronze Age mind-set can set you free from this iron prison and help you embark on the path of power.

A study in sophistic manipulation of men.
Revisado: 08-02-23
BAM is a great study in how to appeal to the male ego. The book is a long list of contradictions; to escape the longhouse you have in practice to become the longhouse. It is therefore both a appealing and unbarable read at the same time. One minute you warned of manipulated history, the next you are inspired by ancient conquests.
The narrator is a good choice for the subject, with a suitable voice for a third positionist manipulator.
Can't recommend the content though as it's appeal is for you to become the things you hate.

Historia
At the heart of this classic, seminal book is Julian Jaynes' still-controversial thesis that human consciousness did not begin far back in animal evolution but instead is a learned process that came about only 3,000 years ago and is still developing. The implications of this revolutionary scientific paradigm extend into virtually every aspect of our psychology, our history and culture, our religion - and indeed our future.

Here at Audible, we know just how much of an impact a voice can have on a story - taking simple words and filling them with elation, wonderment, tragedy, or pure satisfaction. We rely on our narrators every day to bring our favorite stories and characters to life - to introduce us to new authors and genres, or even to a new (perhaps longer) commute. And though our narrators are the best story tellers in the business, it's usually someone else's that they're telling.

Historia
A pathbreaking neuroscientist reveals how our social instincts turn Me into Us, but turn Us against Them - and what we can do about it. The great dilemma of our shrinking world is simple: never before have those we disagree with been so present in our lives. The more globalization dissolves national borders, the more clearly we see that human beings are deeply divided on moral lines - about everything from tax codes to sexual practices to energy consumption - and that, when we really disagree, our emotions turn positively tribal.

Utilitarianism is anti-moral apparently.
Revisado: 07-28-16
I bought this book for its cover, the subject of moral and tribes interest me. However I was pretty disappointed. The author argues that because humans arguably have an inconsistent moral biologic system. That there is no right and wrong. Whoever is the best at making excuses for themselves and postulating where the majority's happiness is best attained is right. Utilitarianism is not a moral system its just a way to feel bad about yourself because its impossible to ever be virtuous and everybody is a hypocrite. Oh and Joshua Green would like you to keep paying lots of taxes so he doesn't have to provide real value but can live on his government paycheck. Not recommended unless you just want excuses for yourself.

Historia
As the stock market crash of 1929 plunged the world into turmoil, two men emerged with competing claims on how to restore the balance to economies gone awry. John Maynard Keynes, the mercurial Cambridge economist, believed that government had a duty to spend when others would not. He met his opposite in a little-known Austrian economics professor, Friedrich Hayek, who considered attempts to intervene both pointless and potentially dangerous.

Historia
Michael Porter’s groundbreaking ideas on competition and strategy have unfolded over three decades and are spread across a dauntingly long list of publications. Every manager can name individual pieces of his work - competitive advantage, the value chain, five forces - but no one, not even Porter himself, has put the entire puzzle together to reveal it as an integrated whole. This lucid, concise audiobook does just that. This book provides an engaging summary of Porter’s ideas and an invaluable synthesis of this important body of work....

A book for women not so much for men.
Revisado: 02-04-16
What would have made The Man's Guide to Women better?
Instead of just focusing on explaining the woman which apparently can and can't be explained because sometimes alle women are the same and some times all women are completely different.
Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?
Possibly.
What three words best describe Eric Michael Summerer’s performance?
He did a good job of sounding condescending to men
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Annoyance at being spoken down too most of the time. I found my self say yes, but stop talking to me like I am some sort of Neanderthal
Any additional comments?
This is a book for a self congratulating woman who like to be spoken of in the third person. I regret buying this book I got very little value out of it. The beginning was good I didn't mind what I thought was sarcasm, but as it continued on it got weary. After the way, way to short part about crazy women the book just went all in on women are wonderful no matter what. It did not make me understand women better. Rather it was a bucket list of behavior I should and should not do.
