I have truly enjoyed this work by Sproul.
You come away from it with a better understanding of God’s character and His love for us.
The narration is just perfect.
I would heartily recommend!

Historia
Charles Stanley helps you recognize and begin to live with the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit by challenging you in three parts to look up, within, and ahead. Life abundant - Jesus promised it and we long for it, yet few Christians seem to have it. Blending lively anecdotes, commentary, and teachings from the Bible, Charles Stanley introduces you to the Holy Spirit. He is not an oversized electrical current you just plug into when you need additional help, or a theological concept, but just as real and active as Christ.

Astounding insights into the workings of the Holy Spirit.
Revisado: 09-14-23
This book is a true treasure.
Dr Stanley even shares his struggles in his walk with the Lord and how he discovered in scripture the secret of letting the Holy Spirit guide your life.
This book really touched my heart and brought me to tears at his sharing of his revelation of the way to live the Christian life. He was a true gem and we are blessed to have so much teaching he left behind. I love his books but this one tops them all. ✨💗

A beautiful piece of work!
Revisado: 02-18-21
I can’t tell you how much I loved this wonderful historical novel.
I’ve been fascinated by how our pioneer ancestors struggled when they came to this country, yet I’m very sympathetic to the indigenous peoples who were already here.
This story brings together both sides and it is beautifully written.
I was brought to tears a few times while reading it. I won’t soon forget Where the Lost Wander.
It’s in my top ten and I’ve listened to hundreds of books.

Hoping for the best for the vagabonds
Revisado: 11-25-19
This is indeed a great book but there were times when it was very difficult to listen to the story when hardship, or even evil, constantly befalls these youngsters. I spent a lot of the book heartbroken to think of these kids going one struggle after another. The book had it’s beautiful moments and you certainly can feel the love that the vagabonds had for each other. I found myself very engaged with the story because I hoped that they would all find what they were looking for in the end.

Precious
Revisado: 08-29-19
This is one of my favorite Mary Balogh books.
Angeline’s character is just so precious. Her sparkling personality and joy of life, despite her rather unloving upbringing, is so endearing.
This one was definitely worth a credit!

This is by far my favorite of the series. The “absurd” Earl of Hardford is absolutely endearing and the “marble” Lady Barclay needs someone to melt that stone cold heart of hers. Just let the magic happen.

Not a boring moment!

She is so crafty in putting her stories together that there is barely a moment when you are not highly entertained. Add Mr Armitage’s marvelous narration and it presents a most enjoyable listen!
I am now off to choose another of her novels!
