Historia
She was the mother of Henry VIII and wife of Henry VII, but who was Elizabeth of York? Raised as the precious eldest child of Edward IV, Elizabeth had every reason to expect a bright future until Edward died, and her life fell apart. When Elizabeth's uncle became Richard III, she was forced to choose sides. Should she trust her father's brother and most loyal supporter or honor the betrothal that her mother has made for her to her family's enemy, Henry Tudor? The choice was made for her on the field at Bosworth.

This is a sweet story and one often overlooked.

I enjoyed the development of characters. After falling in love with the Stars Original the White Queen and the follow up the White Princess I felt like I needed just a little bit more of the life of princesses. This was the ticket.

Way too Religious, thinking about returning it.
Revisado: 10-20-16
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I am having a hard time getting through this book. I think it could be very helpful but I didn't realize how religious it is. I can only "give it to God" so many times. I need concrete steps and so far I haven't gotten any. I don't need scripture read and quoted to me. I think this should be sold as a Christian book and there needs to be some kind of warning.
What was most disappointing about Allison Bottke’s story?
Way too Religious
What about Margaret Strom’s performance did you like?
She's fine. I have no issue with her reading
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Frustration!
Any additional comments?
If you are not religious and are just looking for concrete help don't bother with this book. I am looking for something else.

A quick and fun read
Revisado: 08-12-14
Where does Jenny Pox rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is a great story. Super fun. I have an older teen and although I wouldn't have him to read this story with "approval" for the things in it, I think it's a good example of how kids actually are these days. I wouldn't stop him from reading it but I'd like to discuss it first. For sure this is NOT a YOUNG adult book. Do not let your pre-teens read this. Lots of pot smoking, sex and even drinking and driving occur. It's a fantasy book, but the characters seem real, they talk like the kids talk these days and it's very current with it's references to current things.
What did you like best about this story?
I like the premise and the fast pace. I listen on my lunch break and I look forward to my 1/2 hour each day.
Have you listened to any of Ashlyn Selich’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first book by Ashlyn Selich
Any additional comments?
Yes some editing needs to take place. There are several places where the narrator is clearly repeating trying to get the best take. Someone needs to clean that up, it gets annoying.

Just getting started
Revisado: 06-18-14
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I don't like the Performance. I have fallen asleep three times trying to listen to this book. I think her voice is too monotone. The story though is good so far.
If you’ve listened to books by Susan Kaye Quinn before, how does this one compare?
This is my first book by Susan Kaye Quinn
Would you be willing to try another one of Kelli Shane’s performances?
no I would not.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes I would go see it.
Any additional comments?
I am just the first 5 chapters into the book, I like it. I like the premise and so far it's good. I just have a hard time with the performance.

Not worth the credits
Revisado: 05-21-14
What would have made FOUR The Transfer: A Divergent Story better?
We pretty much already know all that is in this book. I think the upcoming books will be good/better and it would be fun to get Four's perspective when he meets Tris, but this book is so short it shouldn't be worth a credit from Audible. The author should have combined all the Four books into one. It feels a little like she is just trying to make money off the release of these books one a at a time. The story is great I loved it. I am happy to have background.
What do you think your next listen will be?
not sure
What aspect of Aaron Stanford’s performance would you have changed?
He's fine.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from FOUR The Transfer: A Divergent Story?
Four's initiation experience is so similar to the one Tris has in the beginning with the train etc, I would have liked to have had something different. I felt like I knew what to expect too much with this short story.
Any additional comments?
Combine them all in a set and sell them as a set. Then it would feel worth using one of my whole credits.
