Historia
Days after winning OASIS founder James Halliday’s contest, Wade Watts makes a discovery that changes everything. Hidden within Halliday’s vaults, waiting for his heir to find it, lies a technological advancement that will once again change the world and make the OASIS a thousand times more wondrous - and addictive - than even Wade dreamed possible. With it comes a new riddle, and a new quest - a last Easter egg from Halliday, hinting at a mysterious prize. And an unexpected, impossibly powerful, and dangerous new rival awaits, one who’ll kill millions to get what he wants.

Smart, but too Woke in some parts
Revisado: 12-06-20
The book was very smart in its presentation and the way it explains the different pros and cons of such a technology, while also wrapping a really fun story on top of it. However, there are many times where the write seems to plug to much wokeness into the story. I understand what was being said and portrayed, but it felt forced and sometimes felt out of character for the main characters. Some may enjoy the author pointing a lot of this out, however I felt it more as a destruction to get a life lesson I didn’t need or want.

Historia
A widening gulf between performance and accountability has caused history to be kinder to the American generals of World War II than to those of later wars. In The Generals we meet leaders from World War II to the present who rose to the occasion - and those who failed.

Great Review of US Army Generals
Revisado: 10-16-18
Great reference in understanding US General development and how that relates to real world events/wars.
