this was pretty bad. I read smut all the time. as far as contemporary romance, this one just sucked. the instant love trope does not feel right. the steam is good but that's about it 🌶 🌶 🌶. there is alot of spice and a regurgitated plot. the FMC was just ridiculous. I don't think I've ever rolled my eyes while listening as much as I did for this book. don't bother.

I live for smut and this book did not disappoint. exceeded my expectation which is rare. it's an approachable dark romance with a golden retriever but kinky MMC. the FMC is a unique one, strong while selfless. spice was great, nothing vanilla in this!

I love reverse harem spicy books but this one was awful. maybe I'm just used to strong female characters. the FMC was a thoroughly traumatized weak basket case. mmc were not what I want in a mmc, boring and secretive. I'm sure by the next book the FMC will grow up and toughen up but I didn't like this book enough to try it. I gave up with an hour left. don't bother.

this book is not as good as it could be. the main female is such an idiot. the spice level is meh. i got 3/4 in before I gave up. I was really hoping this book would redeem its predecessor but nope. I do not suggest wasting a credit on this.
