Historia
The Earl of Wrexford possesses a brilliant scientific mind, but boredom and pride lead him to reckless behavior. He does not suffer fools gladly. So when pompous, pious Reverend Josiah Holworthy publicly condemns him for debauchery, Wrexford unsheathes his rapier-sharp wit and strikes back. As their war of words escalates, London's most popular satirical cartoonist, A. J. Quill, skewers them both.

I have now listened to 5 of Ms Chamberlains books. I can’t get enough of her stories!
I don’t always gush over authors, but she is definitely the exception to the rule.
If you like twists and turns in your readings you’ll love her efforts.

Revisado: 03-29-22
This wonderful book about a young girl that survived the bombing of Hiroshima was better than my expectations! It was very enlightening without being an awful ugly story. The author was able to draw you into the story and the characters. Well thought out, and very easy to follow the story line.
I hope you too will enjoy it as much as I did.

September 8, 1900, began innocently in the seaside town of Galveston, Texas. Even Isaac Cline, resident meteorologist for the U.S. Weather Bureau, failed to grasp the true meaning of the strange deep-sea swells and peculiar winds that greeted the city that morning. Mere hours later, Galveston found itself submerged in a monster hurricane that completely destroyed the town and killed over 6,000 people in what remains the greatest natural disaster in American history.
