What did you love best about The Wild One?

I am glad I disregarded most of the reviews I've read about this series, because I loved this series of books. Although the narrator could have been better. He did a good job don't get me wrong, I enjoyed some of his comic relief added in the right places, it's just another narrator probably would have given the story a better rating.I loved the familiar closeness these sibling have for one another, even with being far away from one another at times. I also loved the Duke even with his manipulations over said family could still tell he loved them all and thought he was doing what was best for them.I loved seeing how different each of the brothers and the one sister were, and even in their anger for their older brother still showed love for him in their own way.An amazing story which I enjoyed listening to. I find that I enjoy this author, Danelle Harmon very much and look forward in reading more of her books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Although I loved and though differently towards each of the brothers I think I enjoyed Charlies more than the others. Even with his officer status, he still found it in his heart to show compassion to not only the boy who met him on the battle field, but his sister Amy who took care of him as he convalesce in her family home. I loved how he stood up for her against her two evil sister and finally taking her with him when he left for home.

Have you listened to any of David Stifel’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. As I said before he is very good at narrating a story, I think this series was not his forte. I did enjoy most of what he narrated, but some of it was not to my liking.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I think the title that it holds is very good, The De Montforte Brothers would be a wonderful title.

Any additional comments?

I know that the reviews are here to prompt other readers to read or buy these audio books, but everyone has their own taste in what they like. I'd say to read each of the reviews before making your decisions. As for me I truly loved this series of books and highly recommend them...thanks.

If you could sum up Fifty Shades Darker in three words, what would they be?

Love (Most ‎definitely). Truth, and understanding.

What did you like best about this story?

I like how Anna loves Christian unconditionally. Although, he loves her just as much, he has a lot of issues, baggage as Anna puts it in the story, and I don't think even I would trust most of what he says to her at times.

I also like how he finally comes clean with Anna, giving her something more to think about on whether she can trust him to stay devoted to her.I like how he proposes to her, that took not only her by surprise, but me as well.

Also, although it frightened me, I like how he disappeared off radar while flying the Charlie Tango on a business trip. That had me on the edge of my seat waiting along side of Anna and Christian's family as they waited news of his hopeful return.

There are so many scenes that I loved about this story that I"m sure I've missed explaining here.

But I liked how E.L. James ended it with Anna's old boss out to get the sexy Mr. Grey. It makes me dread the wait until I can download the last book.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think that would have to be where she gave him the key chain that lite up and gave him the answer that he so longed waited for.

I'm glad that E.L. James didn't give us a glance early on about what she was thinking of giving him for his birthday.Although, there were many favorites to this story, this one was the best...I think. lol.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yessss! Even with my confession of every day life getting in the way of listening or even reading this story, I found myself completely immersed in these two books, and I can't wait to get back to listening to the last book.

Any additional comments?

Only what I said before in my comment of the first book, and that I highly recommend reading or listening to this awesome trilogy.

What did you love best about Fifty Shades of Grey?

Oh my...would be a correct phrase for this fabulous trilogy. I bought the books a while back intending to read them in my spare time after hearing so much about them. Alas, after only reading a few pages I found my spare time nonexistent.Only after a while did I realized that I could just buy the audio version of this trilogy, and listen while I did other things. As the first part of the story began I had reservations about the audio reader, but after a little while I found that she did an amazing job of telling the tale.

At first I thought Mr. Grey to be too controlling for my liking, I couldn't understand why Anna would put up with such a man, who in my opinion was to good for the likes of him...Rich or not. Even though he was this sexy looking, rich to be sure young man, with a voice that warmed your very soul thoroughly, and a smile that drew women to him like a moth to a flame.

But later after realizing there was more to why he was the what he was, I began to see that even though he acted the way he did, there was something else deep in this man, something that I think will surface. I'm sure that there will be more to their relationship, and I'm sure in the next book they will work it out painfully.

I look forward in hearing the rest of this trilogy, I am thoroughly hooked. Mr. Christian Grey has pulled me under his spell as well.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades of Grey to and why?

I truly don't think there is another to compare this story to. It is unique in itself. E.L. James has out done herself.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Miss Battoe was amazing. At first, as I said before, I didn't think she would do the the story justice. But after listening further; I found that she breathed out and acted through the different character's marvelously. I came to enjoy listening to this well pronounced voice, who played out each emotions fabulously. She made herself part of the story and later made me sit up and take notice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

At first, I became irritated and frightened for Anna. I felt as though she was going to be hurt in the most despicable way. I felt sorry for her when she left and yes, I shed tears for her for the pain she felt.

Yes, I laughed as well, at some of the ways Anna or Christian replied to one another. I was totally involved in this story, tuning out everything around me, completely immersed‎ into the story.

Any additional comments?

Only that, if anyone has a problem reading this type of story, I suggest that you don't. But if you don't mind reading about the the world of dominating sex, I highly recommend this story...it totally rocks. Just one more thing, The love affair between Anna and Christian is more than just the world of BDSM. It is a very emotional love affair, that will touch you heart.
