I enjoyed listening and learning about spatial justice, community, and what it would take to bolster spaces of disinvestment as well as create opportunities for a greater union in our divided times.

I had initially taken the title too literally and was expecting something of a procedural instruction book. I was thankfully wrong. Kendi's work is deeply personal, and listening, you feel more of a one-on-one vibe. Meanwhile, you're receiving a history lesson on racism (and assimilationism). Kendi also helped me think through the different frameworks of racist, assimilationist, and anti racist ideas to more precisely understand myself (white, hetero, male) and society. Ultimately, it's a personal and historical reflection that culminates in a call to action to change racist policies and create an anti racist society.

Well researched and written. Dorothy Brown breaks open opaque tax policy in manner that shines light on ongoing and persistent economic inequality experienced by Black Americans. Basically, she conducts a thorough tax audit on whiteness.

McGhee engages the reader/listener emotionally with personal vignettes from her life, interviews, and participant observation while providing extensive, original and existing, systematic qualitative and quantitative research as academic evidence for her argument against the zero sum game (i.e., white supremacist systems).

Excellent narration! Made the impossible easy to follow and entertaining. Gaiman and Pratchett create a hilarious story with some serious thoughtfulness.

From quality of writing to the readers and the telling of factual historical and contemporary truths through the vehicle of fiction, this is a must listen. Orange blends what seems a combination of sociological research and personal experiences/astute observations in the stories of many characters (all of whom are relatable even through their flaws) in a manner that is informative of Native American reality in an engaging writing style interspersed with lines that can stand alone as poetry.
