While meant to highlight an important issue that still plagues geek culture, it also manages to remain self-aware and lighthearted without going overboard into absurdity. The story is as basic as it comes, wasting no time in highlighting the crux of the plot and justifying the characters' actions through the women involved. All the action happens through the group of ladies who give two cis males a taste of hilarious humiliation, but does so in a way that doesn't fail to humanize all who are involved. You almost never forget that the story is meant to show the reality of "male privilege" and give women a platform to playfully ask "what if we could get away with half the shit men do and say to us?"

Marami's performance is fun and engaging, with that undercurrent of sensuality that she does oh so effortlessly. A far cry from the heavy erotica she's done in the past, she does seem a bit outside of her element, but her clear voice and effort to make character distinctions continues to make her a joy to listen to no matter what she's reading.

Basically, if you're looking for a quick romp into geek culture from a woman's perspective of "getting even", give this a listen. You may be surprised with where your thoughts end up.
