Best Lisa Jewell Book!

I have listened to several of Lisa Jewell'a books, and while I have liked them all, this one was the best. I could not stop listening! Also, Joanne Frogatt did a fabulous job with the narration. I think she is one of the best narrators I've ever heard.

Great Story

The book started out a little slow for me, but once the family got to Alaska, I could not stop listening. I felt like I was right there in the cold and snow with everyone. Kristin Hannah did a great job painting pictures with her words. It was also pretty accurate on what it is like to live with an abusive person and all of the relationship intricacies that go along with that. II highly recommend this book.

This story is really well written. Overall, the performance was really good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that ocassionally the narrarator would slip out of her accent when performing the part of Lily. I highly recommend this book.

I loved the narrarator's performance. Also, the story drew me in from the very beginning, and it was well written. After hearing this story, my next Audible book is going to be the history of Afghanistan, as I never really knew how much suffering the Afghan people have been through, until my eyes were opened via this book, and I want to learn more.
