Historia
Three decades after leaving the Mormon faith, Latayne Colvett Scott looks back to her original journey out of Mormonism and the reasons why she left. Revised and updated, this third edition of The Mormon Mirage presents both a fascinating inside look at Mormonism and new and formidable evidence against its claims and teachings.

Informative and interesting

Would you listen to The Mormon Mirage again? Why?
yes, this book gives a good understanding of what Mormonism truly believes from a Christian perspective.I disagree with the previous review in calling this book, "hate speech." it is giving an analysis of one religion through the eyes of another, and a well documented and researched one at that.

light hearted and charming
Revisado: 12-31-10
this is a very light hearted and entertaining book about a shy girl that is sent on different expeditions around europe. she at first has a hard time coming out of her shell, but eventually finds herself gaining confidence and discovering who she really is. i read this book while traveling around africa, and really enjoyed how all of her mishaps open her up and give her confidence. there is so much to learn about the world and yourself when you travel.

Historia
Neelie Sterling never did listen well to the conversation around her. Always preoccupied with an inner monologue, she sometimes missed things. She was happy when Matt, her veterinarian husband, told her he was getting a collie; she liked dogs. But he had said colleague, to help with his busy practice. The problems start when the pretty blond "collie" calls Neelie to say that she is pregnant with Matt's child.

entertaining, and charming
Revisado: 12-29-10
i read this book while living in africa. it was very charming and a fun read. i really appreciated how she didn't over humanize the elephants, but also discussed the hardships that wildlife in africa are facing these days, as well as the people of africa. light read, but enjoyable and fun.
