A Long Awaited Short Story

I've been anxiously awaiting this next book. It was another great addition to the series, however, I do wish it was longer. I would have been more than willing and happy to wait another month or two for a complete audiobook for the new books that came out.

It ends like a Dexter episode and now I have to wait again. I much prefer a longer immersion into this world.

Regardless, it was still great storytelling. The narrator, as always, does such a fantastic job as well. 10/10 on the narration, 10/10 on the story, 4/10 on the length.

Buy it anyways because it's a good story, but I hope in the future we don't have the same strategy.

Absolutely Terrible

Every single book in this series is absolutely fantastic, except for this one. I'm not sure what was going on when he wrote this, but this book was absolutely horrible.

if you skip this book and move on to the next one, you literally will not miss a single important thing. don't waste your time. Buy ALL the other books. They are amazing. This one should be deleted from Audible and all the books burnt lol

Slow Start

This boxset was fantastic as a whole, but there are parts that you have to struggle through. All in all, it's a 5 out of 5 even with the slow parts.

Not My Favorite Story

The last few books in this series were hard to listen to. Personally, I need dialogue to keep me interested. Most of these books are descriptions of the worlds and inner dialogue, and it just couldn't keep my attention. The payoff for this series was just plain weak. It was a good idea in the beginning, but it just didn't live up to it's potential. In my opinion of course

Fantastic Ending to Mike's Zombie Adventures

I've listened to every book in this series. I just finished up book 15 2 days before this came out and I couldn't wait to pick it up. It makes me a bit sad to think the adventures are over, as it's hard to get enough of the humor of this series. That being said, it was an entertaining, hilarious, and sad.

I was sceptical about even picking the series up, especially after listening to the Undead World series by Peter Meredith and really loving that series, but this entire series was unique and addictive. I found myself laughing out loud more times than I can count.

The narrator was fantastic as always. If you enjoyed the previous books, you'll enjoy this one as well.

Fantastic Series

The only criticism I have is that it was read by a woman. Not that's there's a problem with women reading, but the Apocalypse series and Generation Z we're read by men who could actually sound somewhat like women and little girls. Unfortunately, it was hard for this narrator to sound much like a man and it was hard to really get immersed as a result. Other than that, she did a good job and the stories were great, much like all the other books I've listened to by Peter.

Amazing Book

I have never been so into any book series in my life. I seen criticisms in the reviews of this book of how the same story is repeated over and over again....and that's absolutely ridiculous. The development of the characters, and destruction of, are the story. Of course getting into bad situations, and out of them are going to be repeated. The world is full of the no undead and the living often times more dangerous because of human nature, which the author does a good job of including in this series. What kind of book are you expecting to hear/read ffs?


JB is my favorite and some of the criticism of her in the reviews are ridiculous. Pseudo intellectuals who gripe about the grammar of a 7 year old who didn't finish 1st grade when the story is about a world full of zombies and a genius little girl who see's the world different.

If you like adventure and can suspend your own standards of what a "smart" person is for some entertainment and enjoy a good story, add this to your collection. If you want a "realistic" zombie novel, stop looking. Zombies don't exist 👍




In case you haven't noticed, most of this review is to bash an idiot who made a stupid review with a 2 star rating from his mother's basement. My review is down meow.....

This book made me laugh out loud, get angry, feel sad and pitiful, pumped with excitement, and had me feeling like I needed to turn it off because it legit made me nervous. Once you invest this much time into the series, you start to care about how the characters end up, and as anyone who's read the books before this one knows, no character is safe from death.
