My 4yr old loves this book, but my husband and I find the narration irritating and grating. I wanted to buy a few other Beverly Clearly audio books for my daughter, but I'm hesitant because I can't bear to listen to her narration over and over.

This audio book is very much a read-along book. I wondered, before I bought it, how they could convert these books into audio books and now I know. It doesn't make much sense without having the physical book in front of you as well. With the book in hand, this is a good audio book and I suppose it would be useful to read to kids when a grownup isn't available.
