Historia
Since their YouTube channel, Following Finchmere, has taken flight, showcasing Dr Nell Ward's sustainability transformation at her family's Finchmere estate, it's her partner and colleague, Rav, who's become the star. Amongst Rav's fan mail and gifts, Nell makes the chilling discovery that one person's obsession with him has metamorphosed into a deadly threat. Just as Finchmere flings open its gates to welcome swarms of visitors to their idyllic summer fete, Nell realises the disguised peril has already wormed its way into the heart of Finchmere itself.

The Nature of Murder
Revisado: 08-27-24
This is a wonderful continuation of the Nell Ward Series. The author brilliantly weaves nature into her murder mysteries making connections between species and man. I couldn’t stop listening to this story because there were many cliffhangers as well as so many characters who could’ve done it. Can’t wait for the next story

Historia
The number one New York Times best-selling story about American Olympic triumph in Nazi Germany, the inspiration for the PBS documentary The Boys of '36, broadcast to coincide with the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 80th anniversary of the boys' gold medal race. Out of the depths of the Depression comes an irresistible story about beating the odds and finding hope in the most desperate of times - the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant.

So moving
Revisado: 01-20-24
This was a phenomenal book. Yes, they won the race against Hitler and the Nazis but more importantly they overcame their own personal circumstances during the Great Depression. Told through the eyes of Joe Ranz, who faced exceptionally hard times we see how each of the boys came to be in that boat and all they endured and overcame to be successful in the boat and afterward throughout their lives. I can’t think of a better book to lift your spirit and give hope.
